D34 - Waste Management
The promotion of knowledge, stimulation of research, and the development of test methods, specifications, practices, terminology, classifications, and guides relating to the management of wastes. The wastes addressed by this Committee are those which are generated by industrial, commercial, residential and institutional sources. Management of such wastes is defined here to include, but not be limited to, generation, storage, transportation, treatment, recovery, and disposal. The work of this Committee will be coordinated with other ASTM Committees and organizations having mutual interests.
