General Information
IEC 60050-192:2015 gives the general terminology used in the field of dependability. The terms are generic and are applicable to all fields of dependability methodology, including electrotechnical applications. The document is not an exhaustive vocabulary for all IEC standards in the dependability field: definitions for some specialized terms may only be found in the relevant standards. This document replaces sections 1 to 20 of IEC 60050-191:1990, which has been subjected to a systematic, in-depth review and revision, in order to reflect the current usage of the terms in the dependability field, to introduce new terms from new or revised standards, and other informed sources, and to provide a grammatical form, and presentation to comply with the IEC directives. It has the status of a horizontal standard in accordance with IEC Guide 108:2006. This terminology is consistent with the terminology developed in the other specialized parts of the IEV.

IEC 60050-461:2008, which is a part of the IEV, covers terms and definitions used within the scope of TC 20 "Electric cables". This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 1984, its Amendment 1 (1993) and its Amendment 2 (1999). This edition is a consolidated version of the first edition and its Amendments 1 and 2. Therefore the order of the terms are given in their historical order. A renumbering and addition or deletion of terms is proposed for the next maintenance cycle.
It has the status of a horizontal standard in accordance with IEC Guide 108.

In some cases, it has been necessary to include in an IEV part a concept taken from another
IEV part, or from another authoritative terminology document (VIM, ISO/IEC 2382, etc.), in
both cases with or without modification to the definition (and possibly to the term).
This is indicated by the mention of this source, printed in lightface, and placed between
square brackets at the end of the definition.
Example: [131-03-13 MOD]
(MOD indicates that the definition has been modified)
Terms in additional IEV languages
These terms are placed at the end of the entry, on separate lines (one single line for each
language), preceded by the alpha-2 code for the language defined in ISO 639, and in the
alphabetic order of this code. Synonyms are separated by semicolons.

IEC 62433-4:2016 specifies a flow for deriving a macro-model to allow the simulation of the conducted immunity levels of an integrated circuit (IC). This model is commonly called Integrated Circuit Immunity Model - Conducted Immunity, ICIM-CI. It is intended to be used for predicting the levels of immunity to conducted RF disturbances applied on IC pins. In order to evaluate the immunity threshold of an electronic device, this macro-model will be inserted in an electrical circuit simulation tool. This macro-model can be used to model both analogue and digital ICs (input/output, digital core and supply). This macro-model does not take into account the non-linear effects of the IC. The added value of ICIM-CI is that it could also be used for immunity prediction at board and system level through simulations. This part of IEC 62433 has two main parts:
- the electrical description of ICIM-CI macro-model elements;
- a universal data exchange format called CIML based on XML. This format allows ICIM-CI to be encoded in a more useable and generic form for immunity simulation.

The objective of this standard is to specify the type test of a traction system, mainly comprising of:
- test of performance characteristics;
- test methods of verifying these performance characteristics. This new edition includes the following main technical changes with regard to the previous editions: it includes updates as necessary in order to meet the current technical state of the art, to improve clarity and to create an edition that considers all types of motors part of a traction system.

IEC 62860:2013(E) covers recommended methods and standardized reporting practices for electrical characterization of printed and organic transistors. Due to the nature of printed and organic electronics, significant measurement errors can be introduced if the electrical characterization design-of-experiment is not properly addressed. This standard describes the most common sources of measurement error, particularly for high-impedance electrical measurements commonly required for printed and organic transistors. This standard also gives recommended practices in order to minimize and/or characterize the effect of measurement artifacts and other sources of error encountered while measuring printed and organic transistors. Keywords: electrical characterization, FET, flexible electronics, high impedance, nanocomposite, nanotechnology, OFET, organic electronics, organic transistor, printed electronics, printing, transistor
