This document specifies details for packaging and labelling of cotton bales.

This document lays down the nominal overall dimensions and the bale density of banded cotton bales. It applies to the shaping and forming, the transport and the opening of the bales. It does not apply to wrapping, to banding, and to the marking of bales.

ISO 368:2017 specifies the dimensions (length and inner diameter) and permissible total run-out tolerances of tubes with taper 1:38 and 1:64 for ring-spinning, doubling and twisting spindles used in the textile industry. It also specifies the dimensions and tolerances of the gauges for checking the tubes.

ISO 96-1:2016 specifies the principal dimensions of T- and SF-rings, and the mass and tolerance on the mass, of the appropriate travellers for flange rings employed on ring spinning and ring twisting machines. It also specifies the method of designation of the travellers.

ISO 18600:2015 defines terms of the card with a web-forming method using staple fibres for non-woven machinery.

ISO 18599:2015 specifies the dimensions and execution of strips for water nozzle solidification including their designation.

ISO 21485:2013 establishes a vocabulary of terms related to, and the principles of construction of, draw frames and their components, used for cotton spinning in the textile industry.

ISO 96-2:2009 specifies the principal dimensions of HZ- and J-rings, and the mass and tolerance on the mass, of the appropriate travellers for HZ- and J-rings employed on ring spinning and ring twisting machines. It also specifies the method of designation of the travellers.

ISO 28239:2008 establishes a vocabulary of terms related to, and the principles of construction of, openers and cleaners used in the textile industry in the preparation for spinning of cotton and other staple fibres.

ISO 26243:2007 specifies terms and definitions for the card with regard to spinning procedure for cotton and other staple fibres.

ISO 93-2:2006 specifies the principal features of spring bottoms -- with and without pre-tension -- for cylindrical sliver cans, as specified in ISO 93-1, used in the textile industry.

ISO 93-1:2006 specifies the main dimensions of cylindrical sliver cans used in the textile industry.

ISO 5234:2005 defines dimensions, types and mounting of saw-tooth wire for metallic card clothing with various cross-sections and tooth forms.

ISO 9947:2005 establishes a vocabulary of terms used in the textile industry in respect of two-for-one twisters.

ISO 20726:2004 establishes a vocabulary of terms and principles of construction for hopper feeders used in cotton spinning.

ISO 20727:2004 establishes a vocabulary of terms and principles of construction for bale openers used in cotton spinning.

ISO 20725:2004 establishes a vocabulary of terms and principles of construction for condensers used in cotton spinning.

ISO 16875:2004 establishes a vocabulary of terms for ring spinning textile machines using the cotton spinning method. It also gives an example of the design of such machines.

ISO 16854:2004 establishes a vocabulary of terms for ring twisting textile machinery.

ISO 9903-2:2003 specifies the main dimensions for section wires for metallic card clothing with interchaining foot.

ISO 9903-1:2003 specifies the main dimensions for section wires for metallic card clothing with foot without interlocking or interchaining.

This International Standard specifies the main dimensions of coverings for ready-for-use top rollers (synthetic coverings). It is applicable to spinning preparatory and spinning machinery.

This International Standard specifies the dimensions, characteristics and designations of steel pins recommended for spinning preparatory and spinning machinery.

The terms and defintions given in this International Standard have been confined to those parts of the spinning machine which are specific to open-end yarn production technology. Terms and definitions which relate to machine parts for which definitions appear elsewhere, for example in ISO 477 and ISO 2205, are not included.

Specifies the spindle gauges for the machines named. The spindle gauge is the distance between the axes of two adjoining spindles. The sizes of spindle gauges are shown in a table. - Replaces the first edition (ISO 94-1972).

Specifies the numbering and the dimensions for the two types of card gauges currently used to set the distance between the working elements of cards. Dimensions of gauges, typ A are shown in table 1, numbering and thickness of the gauges are contained in table 2. - Replaces the first edition (ISO 2572-1974)

This International Standard establishes a list of basic terms used in the designation of cone and cheese winding machines and their components as well as the corresponding definitions related to the terminology of textile machinery for cross winding. - Replaces ISO Recommendation R 477-1966 and constitutes its technical revision.

The figures included illustrate the characteristics of the various packages and are not to scale. All packages are shown with their longitudinal axes in a horizontal position, irrespective of their position during the production and/or further processing.

This International Standard establishes a list of basic terms used in designating the pirn winding machines and their accessories as well as certain corresponding defintions in the field of terminology for weaving preparatory machinery. - Replaces ISO Recommendation R 476-1966 and constitutes its technical revision.

Defines basic terms used in the winding of yarns, onto formers or other suitable devices, by means of winding machines. This does not exclude the use of the terms in question for other textile processes, for example, spinning or twisting. Also applicable to yarn-like textile materials such as filaments and man-made tapes.

Lays down the dimensions, shapes and sections of wires for flexible card clothings. A table comprises values for card wire size and for card wire section (for example, round, biconvex and so on).

Defines left and right sides of single-sided machines, double-sided machines with lateral driving unit and double-sided machines with centre driving unit.

To determine the side of a spinning machine with flow of the material in one single direction, the observer looks against this flow. Examples: Blowroom machines, cards, crawing frames and fly frames. Definitions of the side of a spinning machine with flow of the material in various directions and of a double-sided spinning machine are given in detail.

Provides terms and definitions of the main parts of a spinning machine drafting arrangment. The text is completed by the corresponding figures. Drafting arrangements should always be drawn with the feed of the staple from the right. Drafting rollers should be numbered in direction against the flow of fibres. All bottom rollers should be numbered with roman numerals.

ISO 16853:2010 specifies the main dimensions, with tolerances, of rectangular sliver cans used in the textile industry. It also gives information about the right-angle position of cans according to ISO 1101.

ISO 96-1:2009 specifies the principal dimensions of T- and SF-rings, and the mass and tolerance on the mass, of the appropriate travellers for flange rings employed on ring spinning and ring twisting machines. It also specifies the designation method for the travellers.
