Within the general scope described in ISO/IEC 9995-1, this document defines mappings of different sets of graphic characters onto the uppercase and lowercase forms of the 26 basic Latin characters (A–Z and a–z) and the digits 0–9, each of these mappings constituting a “group” as defined in ISO/IEC 9995-2. A detailed synopsis is contained in the informative Annex C. This document is primarily intended for word-processing and text-processing applications, to be used with keyboards which have at least 26 dedicated keys to enter letters and 10 additional keys to enter decimal digits.

This document addresses decentralized water reuse systems in their entirety and is applicable to any water reuse systems component (e.g. reclaimed water, source water, treatment, storage, distribution, operation and maintenance, and monitoring). This document specifies a test method for determining the resistance to water leakage and penetration of water-resistant clothing in an artificial rainfall using a manikin capable of marching motion. It determines the waterproof characteristic in practical use in a rainfall environment with the wearer moving. In addition to personal protective equipment and outdoor clothing, which require extreme conditions, it also applies to testing common waterproof or water-repellent products such as jackets, trousers, coats, and one- or two-piece suits. The test method described in this document uses manikin with normal adult male size, excluding other sizes (female, children).

IEC 63437:2025 specifies the essential characteristics of off grid and unreliable grid refrigerating appliances for domestic and similar use or light commercial use, cooled by internal natural or forced air convection. It defines input voltage supply signals for appliances designed for unreliable grid and off grid conditions.
An unreliable grid condition can be the result of disturbances on the electricity supply, such as power outages, or issues with power quality, such as voltage spikes and surges, that could cause performance challenges to refrigerating appliances. An off grid supply, in this context, for example is generated by a solar panel or a stand-alone solar home system that is not connected to the power grid. This document simulates the power characteristics in off grid and unreliable grid conditions but does not specify requirements or test procedures to assess performance of generators, solar panels, solar home system or any other system generating a supply signal.
The supply signals defined in this document can also be used for evaluation of the performance of other refrigerating appliances such as medical or laboratory appliances, professional storage refrigerators or freezers, refrigerated display cabinets, beverage coolers or ice cream freezers.
This document specifies the test methods for measuring the functional performance characteristics and requirements. This document does not apply to refrigerating appliances designed for a good quality and stable electricity grid and refrigerating appliances utilising fuelled absorption cooling technology.
This document is applicable to any refrigerating appliance for domestic or light commercial use that has a rated performance to properly operate off grid or under unreliable grid operating conditions resisting power interruptions and supply variations. Off grid and unreliable grid refrigerating appliances are appliances intended to for use with standalone or intermittent or distorted electrical mains. Electrical mains supply is assumed to be alternating current (AC) for unreliable grid or direct current (DC) for off grid. This document is also applicable to hybrid refrigerating appliances.

This part of IEC 62676 describes the planning, design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintaining of video surveillance systems (VSS) comprising image capture device(s), interconnection(s) and image handling device(s), for use in security applications within private or public spaces.
The objectives of this document are to:
a) provide a framework to assist all interested parties in establishing their requirements,
b) assist specifiers and users in determining the appropriate equipment required for a given application,
c) provide means of evaluating objectively the performance of the VSS.

IEC 62343: 2026 Amendment 1

IEC 62343:2023 applies to all commercially available optical dynamic modules and devices. It describes the products covered by the IEC 62343 series, defines terminology, fundamental considerations and basic approaches. The object of this document is to:
- establish uniform requirements for operation, reliability and environmental properties of dynamic modules (DMs) to be implemented in the appropriate DM standard, and
- provide assistance to the purchaser in the selection of consistently high-quality DM products for their particular applications, as well as in the consultation of the appropriate specific DM standard(s).
This document covers performance templates, performance standards, reliability qualification requirements, hardware and software interfaces and related testing methods. Since a dynamic module integrates an optical module/device, printed wiring board, and software/firmware, the standards developed in the series will mimic appropriate existing standards. On the other hand, since "dynamic module" is a relatively new product category, the dynamic module standards series will not be bound by the existing practices where requirements differ.The safety standards as related to dynamic modules are mostly optical power considerations, which is covered by the IEC 60825 series (see Clause 6). This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition published in 2017. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
- addition of terms and definitions for optical multicast switches (3.8);
- revision of Clause 4, listing the requirements for standards in the IEC 62343 series;
- addition of Clause 6 (Safety requirements).

This document specifies requirements and test methods for the performance of materials and readymade garments for protection against the effects of precipitation (e.g. rain, snowflakes), fog and ground humidity. Garments for protection against other effects than precipitation (e.g. water splashes, waves) are excluded from this document.
The protective effects and requirements of footwear, gloves and separate headwear are excluded from the scope of this document.

This document describes the key actors in the eCall chain of service provision in hybrid circuit switched/packet switched network environments as:
1) In-Vehicle System (IVS)/vehicle,
2) Mobile Network Operator (MNO),
3) Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP),
and to provide conformance tests for actor groups 1) – 3).
NOTE 1 Conformance tests are not appropriate nor required for vehicle occupants, although they are the recipients of the service.
NOTE 2 Third party eCall systems (TPS-eCall) are not within the scope of this document. This is because the core TPS-eCall standard (EN 16102) does not specify the communications link between the vehicle and the TPS service provider.
NOTE 3 These conformance tests are partly based on the appropriate conformance tests from EN 16454 and EN 17240. This deliverable therefore adapts and revises Conformance Test Procedures (CTPs) from EN 16454 and EN 17240 for hybrid circuit switched/packet switched network environments.
This document complements EN 16454 and EN 17240 and provides a suite of conformance tests for IVS equipment, MNOs and PSAPs, required to ensure and demonstrate compliance with EN 17905.
The scope covers conformance testing of new engineering developments, products and systems, and does not imply testing associated with individual installations in vehicles or locations.

IEC 63372:2026 describes principles and methodologies, specifies requirements and provides guidance for quantification and communication of carbon footprint a product (CFP), emission reductions and avoided emissions from electric and electronic (EE) products and systems. This document is also applicable to product-related GHG projects.
The GHG quantification such as CFP is based on life cycle assessment (LCA) methods.
This document is a basic environment horizontal publication focusing on essential requirements and is primarily intended for use by committees in the preparation of publications within the area of environment in accordance with the principles laid down in IEC Guide 123. Wherever applicable, it is the responsibility of committees to make use of environment basic publications in the preparation of their environment group and product publications. Committees can apply this document directly to products when they do not develop a product publication in the area of environment.
This first edition of IEC 63372 cancels and replaces IEC TR 62725:2013 and IEC TR 62726:2014, which have been technically revised.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) updating and enhancing content related to carbon footprint of a product to align with new or updated reference standards;
b) including product and system in quantification of GHG emission reductions;
c) adding the content related to avoided emissions including use cases in Annex D.
