Circuit breakers for equipment (CBE)
IEC 60934:2019 is available as IEC 60934:2019 RLV which contains the International Standard and its Redline version, showing all changes of the technical content compared to the previous edition.IEC 60934:2019 is applicable to mechanical switching devices designed as "circuit‑breakers for equipment" (CBE) for household and similar applications. CBEs according to this document are intended to provide protection to circuits within electrical equipment including its components (e.g. motors, transformers, internal wiring). This document covers also CBEs applicable for protection of electrical equipment in case of undervoltage and/or overvoltage. This document also covers CBEs which are suitable for isolation. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2000, Amendment 1:2007 and Amendment 2:2013. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) clarifications for type testing purposes.

Selon le présent document, les DPE sont destinés à la protection des circuits internes des équipements électriques, y compris leurs composants (par exemple, les moteurs, les transformateurs, le câblage interne). Le présent document couvre aussi les DPE applicables pour la protection des équipements électriques en cas de sous-tension et/ou de surtension. Le présent document couvre aussi les DPE qui sont aptes au sectionnement. Cette quatrième édition annule et remplace la troisième édition parue en 2000, l’Amendement 1:2007 et l’Amendement 2:2013. Cette édition constitue une révision technique. Cette édition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport à l'édition précédente: a) éclaircissements relatifs à la finalité des essais de type.
Odklopniki za opremo (CBE) (IEC 60934:2019)
Ta dokument se uporablja za mehanske stikalne naprave, ki so izdelane kot »odklopniki za opremo« (CBE) za gospodinjsko in podobno uporabo. Odklopniki za opremo v skladu s tem dokumentom se uporabljajo za zaščito tokokrogov znotraj električne opreme, vključno z njenimi komponentami (npr. motorji, transformatorji, notranje ožičenje). Ta dokument zajema tudi odklopnike za opremo, ki se uporabljajo za zaščito električne opreme v primeru podnapetosti in/ali prenapetosti. Ta dokument zajema tudi odklopnike za opremo, ki so primerni za izolacijo. Odklopniki za opremo se ne uporabljajo za nadtokovno zaščito napeljav stavb. Odklopniki za opremo v skladu s tem dokumentom imajo: – nazivno napetost, ki ne presega 440 V izmenične napetosti (med fazami) in/ali enosmerne napetosti, ki ne presega 250 V; – nazivni tok, ki ne presega 125 A; – kratkostično zmogljivost (Icn) najmanj 6 × In (z izmenično napetostjo) in 4 × In (z enosmerno napetostjo), vendar ne presega 3000 A. Odklopniki za opremo imajo lahko pogojno kratkostično tokovno obremenljivost (Inc) v povezavi z določeno napravo za zaščito pred kratkim stikom (SCPD). Navodila za usklajevanje povezanega odklopnika za opremo v istem tokokrogu z napravo za zaščito pred kratkim stikom so podana v dodatku F. Pri odklopnikih za opremo, katerih stopnja zaščite je višja od IP20 v skladu s standardom IEC 60529 in se uporabljajo na območjih, kjer prevladujejo nevarni okoljski pogoji (npr. prekomerna vlažnost, toplota ali hlad, nabiranje prahu), ter na nevarnih območjih (npr. kjer lahko pride do eksplozij), so morda potrebne posebne konstrukcije. Ta dokument vsebuje vse zahteve, ki so nujne za zagotovitev skladnosti z obratovalnimi značilnostmi, ki so za te naprave zahtevane v tipskih preskusih. Vsebuje tudi podrobnosti glede preskusnih zahtev in metod preskušanja, ki so nujne za zagotovitev ponovljivosti rezultatov preskusov. This European Standard has been prepared under a Commission’s standardization request relating to
harmonized standards in the field of the Low Voltage Directive, M/511, to provide one voluntary means
of conforming to safety objectives of Directive 2014/35/EU of the European Parliament and of the
Council of 26 February 2014 on the harmonization of the laws of the Member States relating to the
making available on the market of electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits
[2014 OJ L96].
Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union under that Directive,
compliance with the normative clauses of this standard given in Table ZZ.1 confers, within the limits of
the scope of this standard, a presumption of conformity with the corresponding essential requirements
