This document specifies safety requirements for conductive connection of electrically propelled mopeds and motorcycles (referred to as the EVs) to external electric circuits.
NOTE 1 External electric circuits include external electric power supplies and external electric loads.
It does not provide comprehensive safety information for manufacturing, maintenance and repair personnel.
It applies only to on-board charging systems between the plug or vehicle inlet and RESS circuits.
NOTE 2 The requirements when not connected to external electric circuits are specified in the ISO 13063 series.
Requirements for bidirectional energy transfer DC to AC are under consideration and are not part of this document.
NOTE 3 The safety requirements for DC EV supply equipment where protection relies on electrical separation are specified in IEC 61851-25.
NOTE 4 The safety requirements for DC EV supply equipment where protection relies on double or reinforced insulation are specified in IEC TS 61851-3-1 and IEC TS 61851-3-2.

Dieses Dokument legt Sicherheitsanforderungen für die leitende Verbindung von elektrisch angetriebenen Mopeds und Motorrädern (im weiteren Verlauf „Elektrofahrzeuge“ genannt) an externe Stromkreise fest.
ANMERKUNG 1 Externe Stromkreise umfassen externe elektrische Versorgungssysteme und externe elektrische Lasten.
Es beschreibt keine umfassenden Sicherheitsinformationen für Herstellungs-, Wartungs- und Reparaturpersonal.
Es gilt nur für Bordladegeräte im Stromkreis zwischen dem Stecker oder der Fahrzeugsteckvorrichtung und dem RESS.
ANMERKUNG 2 Die Anforderungen an Fahrzeuge, die nicht an einen externen Stromkreis angeschlossen sind, werden in ISO 13063 (alle Teile) festgelegt.
Anforderungen an die bidirektionale Energieübertragung von Gleichstrom zu Wechselstrom sind noch in der Entwicklung und sind nicht Teil dieser Ausgabe.
ANMERKUNG 3 Die Sicherheitsanforderungen für DC-EV-Ladeeinrichtungen, bei denen der Schutz auf der elektrischen Trennung basiert, sind in IEC 61851 25 festgelegt.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences de sécurité relatives au couplage conductif des cyclomoteurs et motocycles à propulsion électrique (dénommés VEs) aux circuits électriques externes.
NOTE 1 Les circuits électriques externes comprennent les bornes d’alimentation électrique externes et les charges électriques externes.
Il ne fournit pas d'informations de sécurité complètes pour le personnel de fabrication, de maintenance et de réparation.
Il s'applique uniquement aux systèmes de charge embarqués entre la prise ou l'entrée du véhicule et les circuits RESS.
NOTE 2 Si non connexion à des circuits électriques externes, les exigences sont spécifiées dans la série ISO 13063.
Les exigences relatives au transfert bidirectionnel d'énergie de courant continu en courant alternatif sont à l'étude et ne sont pas couverts par le présent document.

Mopedi in motorna kolesa na električni pogon - Varnostne zahteve za prevodno (kabelsko) priključitev na zunanje električno napajanje (ISO 18246:2023)
Ta dokument določa varnostne zahteve za prevodno (kabelsko) priključitev mopedov in motornih koles na električni pogon (imenovanih električna vozila) na zunanje električne tokokroge.
OPOMBA 1: Zunanji električni tokokrogi vključujejo zunanje električno napajanje in zunanje električne obremenitve.
Ne zagotavlja celovitih varnostnih informacij za proizvodno, vzdrževalno in servisno osebje.
Uporablja se samo za polnilne sisteme v vozilu med vtičem ali vtičnico na vozilu ter vezji RESS.
OPOMBA 2: Zahteve za vozila, ki niso priključena na zunanje električne tokokroge, so podane v standardu ISO 13063.
Zahteve za dvosmerni prenos energije iz enosmernega na izmenični tok so v fazi preučevanja in niso del tega dokumenta.
OPOMBA 3: Varnostne zahteve za opremo za enosmerno napajanje električnih vozil, kjer zaščita temelji na električni ločitvi, so podane v standardu IEC 61851-25.

This document (EN ISO 18246:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 22 "Road
vehicles" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 301 “Road vehicles” the secretariat of
which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2023, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by October 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
