This European Standard specifies the design, dimensions, technical requirements and testing of connections for the discharge of oily mixture produced by inland navigation vessels.
It is not applicable to the disposal of cargo residues from cargo tanks.
This standard specifies:
- a connection of a design common on inland navigation vessels which consists of a threaded pipe and quick-release coupling;
- a connection for vessels with flange ISO 7608 - A1, consisting of an adapter with matching flange and welded threaded pipe and quick-release coupling.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Bauart, Maße, technische Anforderungen und Prüfungen von Anschlüssen für die Abgabe von Ölrückständen von Fahrzeugen der Binnenschifffahrt fest.
Sie gilt nicht für die Beseitigung von Ladungsresten aus Ladetanks.
Die Norm legt fest:
- einen Anschluss in der für Binnenschiffe üblichen Ausführung, bestehend aus Rohr mit Gewindestutzen und Schnellkupplung;
- einen Anschluss für Schiffe mit Flansch ISO 7608 - A1, bestehend aus Adapter mit dazu passenden Flansch mit angeschweißten Rohr mit Gewindestutzen und Schnellkupplung.

La présente Norme européenne définit le type, les dimensions, les exigences techniques et les essais des raccords destinés à l’évacuation de résidus d’huile des bateaux de navigation intérieure.
Elle ne s’applique pas à l’évacuation des résidus provenant des cargos.
Cette norme définit :
- un raccord de conception courante pour les bateaux de navigation intérieure, composé d’un embout fileté et d’un accouplement rapide ;
- un raccord conçu pour les navires avec bride ISO 7608 - A1, composé d’un adaptateur avec une bride adaptée et un embout fileté soudé et d’un accouplement rapide.
