This European Standard specifies design, dimensions, technical requirements and testing of connections for the discharge of oily mixture from inland navigation vessels. It does not apply to the disposal of residues from cargo tanks. The Standard specifies: - a connection of a design that is common on inland navigation vessels consisting of a threaded pipe and a quick release coupling; - a connection for vessels with a flange ISO 7608-A1 consisting of a fitting flange with welded threaded pipe and quick release coupling.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Bauart, Maße, technische Anforderungen und Prüfungen von Anschlüssen für die Abgabe von Ölrückständen von Fahrzeugen der Binnenschiffahrt fest. Sie gilt nicht für die Beseitigung von Ladungsresten aus Ladetanks. Die Norm legt fest: - einen Anschluß in der für Binnenschiffe üblichen Ausführung, bestehend aus Gewindestutzen und Schnellkupplung; - einen Anchluss für Schiffe mit Flansch ISO 7608-A1, bestehend aus dazu passendem Flansch mit angeschweißtem Gewindestutzen mit Schnellkupplung.

Cette norme européenne spécifie la conception, les dimensions, les exigences techniques et l'essai des raccords destinés à l'évacuation de résidus d'huile des bateaux de navigation intérieure. Elle ne s'applique pas à l'évacuation des résidus provenant des cargos. La norme spécifie: - un raccord de conception courante sur les bateaux de navigation intérieure composé d'un raccord fileté et d'un accouplement rapide; - un raccord conçu pour les navires avec bride ISO 7608-A1, qui consiste en une bride adaptée avec raccord fileté soudé et raccord d'accouplement rapide.
