IEC 62106-10:2021(E) describes the Universal Encoder Communication Protocol – UECP. The UECP has as its primary objectives to satisfy the need for harmonized RDS encoder communication protocols and to facilitate the interworking of various RDS systems components, such as RDS servers, data bridges and encoders, regardless of the supplier. Furthermore, a harmonised network environment and encoder model is being maintained to facilitate the interchange of component parts of RDS network systems. These harmonized models and a universal layered protocol are specified, based on the ISO/OSI recommendation. The UECP encompasses all current RDS features including any new developments using the ODA protocol.

IEC 62106-9:2021 specifies the Radio Broadcast Data System (RBDS), which is an RDS-compatible variant used in countries of North America. RBDS was first standardized by the U.S. National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC) in 1993 and subsequently revised in 1998, 2004, 2005 and 2011 . With the publication of this edition of IEC 62106, the RDS and RBDS standards are now harmonized into a single document. The frequency range of operation (64,0 MHz to 108,0 MHz as indicated by the title of this document) varies according to regional regulatory authority. The U.S. range is 88 MHz to 108 MHz, as set by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.

IEC 62442-2:2018 defines a measurement method of the power losses of electromagnetic controlgear, the total input power and the standby power of electronic controlgear for high intensity discharged lamps (excluding fluorescent lamps). A calculation method of the efficiency of controlgear for high intensity discharged lamp(s) is also defined. It is assumed that the controlgear are designed for use on DC supplies up to 1 000 V and/or AC supplies up to 1 000 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2014. This edition constitutes a technical revision and has been harmonized with IEC 62442-1 and IEC 62442-3.

IEC TR 63065:2017(E) provides general guidance on basic principles and general proposals for the safe and economic operation and maintenance of an LCC converter station.
These guidelines are based on the operation and maintenance practices that have been used successfully during the last decades at HVDC converter stations all over the world, and can be referred to by new HVDC users to optimize operation and maintenance policy and assist in performing the operation and maintenance work.
This document focuses only on the operation and maintenance of the equipment inside an LCC converter station, including back-to-back HVDC systems. The operation and maintenance of HVDC overhead transmission lines, HVDC cables and voltage sourced converter (VSC) are not covered by this document.

This European Standard is an application standard, identifying recommended interfaces for connections of digital video broadcast integrated receiver decoder (DVB-IRD) equipment. If a recommended interface is supported, then the full specification of that interface, which may include options, applies. Interfaces not mentioned in this document are not excluded and especially interfaces which are under development at the time of writing of this document may be added at a later stage. For mechanical and electrical details of the interfaces, reference is made to existing standards of IEC or CENELEC wherever possible, or standards which are known to be in an advanced state of development.

The Eureka 147 Digital Audio Broadcasting System is able to transmit data rates of up 1.8432 Mbit/s. This data rate occurs if an EEP with a coderate of 0.8 is selected. Audio receivers generally will be capable to decode one or several MSC Subchannels, but will not contain decoders for all possible data services. Therefore, the source for the data to be carried on the Receiver Data Interface (RDI) is the output bit stream of the channel decoder of a DAB receiver. Dedicated decoders for data applications, computers, etc., but also devices for audio postprocessing and recording can be connected to the DAB receiver through this interface
