Energy management systems - Requirements with guidance for use (ISO 50001:2018)
This document specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an energy management system (EnMS). The intended outcome is to enable an organization to follow a systematic approach in achieving continual improvement of energy performance and the EnMS.
This document:
a) is applicable to any organization regardless of its type, size, complexity, geographical location, organizational culture or the products and services it provides;
b) is applicable to activities affecting energy performance that are managed and controlled by the organization;
c) is applicable irrespective of the quantity, use, or types of energy consumed;
d) requires demonstration of continual energy performance improvement, but does not define levels of energy performance improvement to be achieved;
e) can be used independently, or be aligned or integrated with other management systems.
Annex A provides guidance for the use of this document. Annex B provides a comparison of this edition with the previous edition.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences pour établir, mettre en œuvre, entretenir et améliorer un système de management de l'énergie (SMÉ). Le but recherché est de donner la possibilité à un organisme de parvenir, par une démarche méthodique, à l'amélioration continue de sa performance énergétique et du SMÉ.
Le présent document:
a) est applicable à tout organisme quel que soit son type, sa taille, sa complexité, son emplacement géographique, sa culture organisationnelle, ou les produits et services qu'il fournit;
b) est applicable aux activités affectant la performance énergétique qui sont gérées par l'organisme et dont il a la maîtrise;
c) est applicable quels que soient la quantité, l'usage ou les types d'énergie consommée;
d) requiert la démonstration d'une amélioration continue de la performance énergétique mais ne définit pas de niveaux d'amélioration de la performance énergétique à atteindre;
e) peut être utilisé indépendamment, être harmonisé avec d'autres systèmes de management ou y être intégré.
L'Annexe A fournit des recommandations de mise en œuvre du présent document. L'Annexe B fournit une comparaison de la présente édition avec l'édition précédente.
Sistemi upravljanja z energijo - Zahteve z navodili za uporabo (ISO 50001:2018)
Ta dokument določa zahteve za vzpostavitev, izvajanje, vzdrževanje in izboljšanje sistema upravljanja z energijo (EnMS). Namen je omogočiti organizaciji, da sledi sistematičnemu pristopu pri doseganju stalnih izboljšav energetske učinkovitosti in sistema upravljanja z energijo.
Ta dokument:
a) se uporablja za vsako organizacijo, ne glede na vrsto, velikost, zapletenost, geografsko lego, organizacijsko kulturo ali proizvode in storitve, ki jih ponuja;
b) se uporablja za dejavnosti, ki vplivajo na energetsko učinkovitost, ki jih upravlja in nadzira organizacija;
c) se uporablja ne glede na količino, porabo ali vrsto porabljene energije;
d) potrebuje prikaz stalne izboljšave energetske zmogljivosti, vendar ne določa ravni izboljšanja energetske učinkovitosti, ki jih je treba doseči;
e) se lahko uporablja samostojno ali vzporedno ali skupaj z drugimi sistemi upravljanja.

This document (EN ISO 50001:2018) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 301 "Energy
management and energy savings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/CLC/JTC 14 “Energy
management, energy audits, energy savings” the secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2019, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2019.

Standard SIST EN ISO 50001:2018 (sl, en), Sistemi upravljanja z energijo – Zahteve z navodili za
uporabo (ISO 50001:2018), 2018, ima status slovenskega standarda in je istoveten evropskemu
standardu EN ISO 50001:2018, Energy management systems – Requirements with guidance for use
(ISO 50001:2018), 2018.
Ta standard nadomešča SIST EN ISO 50001:2011.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Besedilo standarda EN ISO 50001:2018 je pripravil tehnični odbor ISO/TC 301 "Upravljanje in
varčevanje z energijo" v sodelovanju s CEN/CLC/JTC 14 "Upravljanje z energijo, energetske presoje,
varčevanje z energijo", katerega sekretariat vodi UNI. Slovenski standard SIST EN ISO 50001:2018 je
prevod angleškega besedila evropskega standarda EN ISO 50001:2018. V primeru spora glede
besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v angleškem jeziku.
Slovensko-angleško izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST /TC VZK Vodenje in zagotavljanje
kakovosti.
Odločitev za privzem tega standarda je 10. septembra 2018 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC SIST /TC
VZK Vodenje in zagotavljanje kakovosti.
