This document provides additional terms and definitions to those written in the European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) or the Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID), appearing as Appendix C to the Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail (COTIF).
This document forms part of series of documents prepared by CEN/TC 296 regarding the transport of dangerous goods. The series supports the proper application of the ADR and RID.
This document is applicable to tanks used for the transport of dangerous goods.
This document does not apply to carriage in bulk of dangerous goods.
For convenience, Annex A (informative) repeats some horizontal definitions taken from ADR 2017 chapter 1.2, and Annex B (informative) repeats some definitions from ADR 2017 chapter 6.7, specific to portable tanks.
NOTE   The ADR is updated on a regular basis, therefore Annexes A and B might become out of date.
Annexes C, D and E (informative) provide alphabetical trilingual indexes of terms in English, French and German where the key is English, French and German respectively.
Annex F (normative) is a schematic diagram of tank openings and closures according to the tank code.

Tanks für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter - Begriffe

Dieses Dokument stellt zusätzliche Begriffe zur Verfügung, als Ergänzung zu den im Europäischen Übereinkommen über die internationale Beförderung gefährlicher Güter auf der Straße (ADR, en: European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) oder der Ordnung für die internationale Eisenbahnbeförderung gefährlicher Güter (RID, en: Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail), erschienen als Anhang C zum Übereinkommen über den internationalen Eisenbahnverkehr (COTIF, en: Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail), angegebenen.
Dieses Dokument ist Teil der Reihe von Dokumenten, die vom CEN/TC 296 für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter erarbeitet wird. Diese Reihe unterstützt die ordnungsgemäße Anwendung von ADR und RID.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Tanks, die für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter verwendet werden.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter in loser Schüttung.
Zur Vereinfachung der Anwendung werden im informativen Anhang A einige horizontale, aus dem ADR, Ausgabe 2017, Kapitel 1.2, entnommene Begriffsbestimmungen wiedergegeben; ebenso werden im informativen Anhang B einige besondere Begriffsbestimmungen zu ortbeweglichen Tanks aus dem ADR, Ausgabe 2017, Kapitel 6.7, wiedergegeben.
ANMERKUNG   Das ADR unterliegt einer turnusmäßigen Fortschreibung, weshalb Anhang A und Anhang B ab einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt veraltet sein könnten.
Die informativen Anhänge C, D und E stellen alphabetische dreisprachige Verzeichnisse der Benennungen in Englisch, Französisch und Deutsch zur Verfügung, wobei die Sortierung den englischen, französischen bzw. deutschen Benennungen folgt.
Der normative Anhang F enthält schematische Darstellungen von Tanköffnungen und  verschlüssen entsprechend der Tankcodierung.

Le présent document fournit des termes et définitions supplémentaires par rapport à ceux indiqués dans l’Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par route (ADR) ou dans le Règlement concernant le transport international ferroviaire des marchandises dangereuses (RID), figurant à l’Appendice C de la Convention sur les transports internationaux ferroviaires (COTIF).
Le présent document fait partie d’une série élaborée par le CEN/TC 296 sur le transport des marchandises dangereuses. Cette série facilite la bonne application de l’ADR et du RID.
Le présent document est applicable aux citernes destinées au transport des marchandises dangereuses.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas au transport en vrac des marchandises dangereuses.
Pour des raisons pratiques, l’Annexe A (informative) reprend certaines définitions horizontales tirées du chapitre 1.2 de l’ADR 2017 et l’Annexe B (informative) reprend certaines définitions tirées du chapitre 6.7 de l’ADR 2017, spécifiques des citernes mobiles.
NOTE   L’ADR étant régulièrement mis à jour, les Annexes A et B pourraient devenir obsolètes.
Les Annexes C, D et E (informatives) fournissent des index alphabétiques trilingues des termes en anglais, en français et en allemand, classés respectivement par ordre alphabétique des termes anglais, français et allemand.
L’Annexe F (normative) est une représentation schématique des ouvertures et moyens d’obturation des citernes selon le code-citerne.

V tem standardu so podani dodatni izrazi in definicije – poleg izrazov in definicij, navedenih v Evropskem sporazumu o mednarodnem prevozu nevarnih snovi po cesti (ADR) oziroma v Predpisih o mednarodnem železniškem prevozu nevarnega blaga (RID) – kot dodatek C h Konvenciji o mednarodnem železniškem prometu (COTIF). Ta dokument je del skupine dokumentov, ki jih je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo CEN/TC 296 v zvezi s prevozom nevarnega blaga. Skupina dokumentov podpira ustrezno uporabo Evropskega sporazuma o mednarodnem prevozu nevarnih snovi po cesti in Predpisov o mednarodnem železniškem prevozu nevarnega blaga. Ta dokument se uporablja za cisterne za prevoz nevarnega blaga. Ta dokument se ne uporablja za prevoz nevarnega blaga v razsutem stanju. This document (EN 14564:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 296 “Tanks for
the transport of dangerous goods”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2020, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2020.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 14564:2013.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association.
This document provides uniform terminology for technical terms, which require definition in addition
to regulatory definitions based in RID/ADR, and specific terms defined in other standards on tanks for
transport of dangerous goods, prepared by CEN/TC 296.
Clause 3 defines general terms and Clause 4 defines specific terms.
According to the CEN-CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organisations of the
