La présente norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions et les essais de revêtements obtenus par galvanisation à chaud sur des tubes en acier destinés aux usages suivants: a) gaz et eau, y compris les installations d'eau potable; b) échafaudages de chantier; c) applications dans la construction. NOTE 1: Cettenorme européenne couvre à la fois "tuyau" et "profil creux". NOTE 2: Les revêtements par galvanisation destinés aux tubes en acier profilés sont indiqués dans l'EN 10240 (CEN TC262/SC 1/WG 2 a un projet de document en cours).
