ISO 18841:2018 specifies basic requirements for the provision of interpreting services. Additionally, it provides recommendations of good practice. NOTE Interpreting specializations/specialized interpreting services can be covered in other International Standards (e.g. ISO 20228, Legal interpreting).

Le présent document fixe les exigences fondamentales relatives à la prestation de services d'interprétation. Il fournit également des recommandations de bonnes pratiques. NOTE Les spécialisations d'interprétation/services d'interprétation spécialisés peuvent être couverts dans d'autres Normes internationales (par exemple l'ISO 20228, Interprétation juridique et judiciaire).
