This document applies to all liquid-applied water impermeable products, based on polymer modified cementitious mortars, dispersions and reaction resin coatings, used beneath ceramic tiling, for external tile installations on walls and floors and in swimming pools.
This document specifies the test methods and the requirements for the non-harmonised characteristic and the designation and marking of liquid-applied water impermeable products beneath ceramic tiling.
This document does not contain recommendations for the design and installation of ceramic tiles and grouts in combination with water impermeable products.
NOTE Liquid-applied water impermeable products are also used beneath other types of tiles (natural and agglomerated stones, etc.), where they do not adversely affect these materials.

Dieses Dokument gilt für alle flüssig aufzubringenden wasserundurchlässigen Produkte, die aus Schichten auf der Basis von polymermodifiziertem Zementmörtel, Dispersionsharzen und Reaktionsharzen bestehen und unter keramischen Fliesen und Platten im Außenbereich an Wänden, Böden und in Schwimmbecken verwendet werden.
Dieses Dokument legt die Prüfverfahren und die Anforderungen an das nicht harmonisierte Merkmal sowie die Bezeichnung und Kennzeichnung von flüssig aufzubringenden wasserundurchlässigen Produkten, die unter keramischen Fliesen und Platten verwendet werden, fest.
Dieses Dokument enthält keine Empfehlungen für die Ausführung und Verarbeitung von keramischen Fliesen bzw. Platten und Mörteln in Verbindung mit wasserundurchlässigen Produkten.
ANMERKUNG Flüssig aufzubringende wasserundurchlässige Produkte werden auch unter anderen Arten von Fliesen und Platten (aus Natur- und Betonwerkstein usw.) angewendet, sofern sie auf diese Materialien keine negativen Einflüsse ausüben.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes d’essai et les exigences relatives à la caractéristique non harmonisée et à la désignation et au marquage des produits d’imperméabilisation appliqués en phase liquide sous des carreaux céramiques.

This document is currently submitted to the CEN Enquiry.
This document with FprEN 14891-1:2021 will supersede EN 14891:2017.

1 Scope
