Valves for water supply - Fitness for purpose requirements and appropriate verification tests - Part 5: Control valves
This part of the standard determines the special requirements and tests to be applied to control valves for a range PN 6 to PN 25, the nominal dimensions of which are as defined in Part 1. The Type tests shall be carried out on valves of DN <= 500, by agreement between the supplier and purchaser, for higher DNs. This Part 5 does not deal with the performance of control valve accessories whether or not these form an integral part of the valves.

Diese Norm legt die besonderen Anforderungen und Prüfungen für Regelarmaturen für einen Druckbereich von PN 6 bis PN 25 fest, deren Nennweiten in Teil 1 bestimmt sind. Typprüfungen sind an Armaturen mit DN <= 500 durchzuführen, bei größeren Nennweiten im Einvernehmen zwischen Lieferant und Abnehmer. Diese Norm behandelt nicht die Leistungsmerkmale von Zubehör- oder Anbauteilen der Armaturen unabhängig davon, ob sie integraler Bestandteil sind oder nicht.

Cette partie de la présente norme fixe les spécificités et contrôles applicables aux robinets de régulation pour une gamme de PN 6 a PN 25 et dont les dimensions nominales sont celles définies dans la partie 1. Les essais de Type doivent etre réalisés sur des robinets de DN <= 500 et par accord entre fournisseur et acheteur, pour les DN supérieurs. Cette partie 5 ne traite pas des performances des accessoires des robinets de régulation qu'ils soient intégrés ou non.
