Diese Norm enthält die gleiche Struktur und das Nummernsystem wie in EN 1559-1 und wiederholt die Nummerierung von Abschnitten und Unterabschnitten selbst dann, wenn keine zusätzlichen oder anderen Anforderungen hinzugefügt worden sind. Ebenfalls gekennzeichnet sind die spezifischen Abschnitte für Gussstücke aus Aluminiumlegierungen unter bestehenden oder neuen Überschriften.

La présente norme conserve la même structure et le même système de numérotation que ceux utilisés pour l'EN 1559 1 et répète cette numérotation des articles et paragraphes même si aucun texte supplémentaire ou différent n'a été ajouté. Elle indique également des données spécifiques des pièces moulées en alliages d'aluminium, sous des titres existants ou nouveaux.
