This European Standard specifies a test method to determine the degree of wet out of the reinforcement in a sheet moulding compound (SMC). It is applicable for quality control by the user of the SMC as well as for the process control during the SMC production.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Benetzungsgrades der Faserverstärkung in einer Harzmatte (SMC) fest. Diese Norm kann angewandt werden zur Kontrolle der Qualität des SMC beim Verarbeiter und auch zur Fertigungskontrolle beim Hersteller des SMC.

La présente norme européenne spécifie une méthode d'essai permettant de déterminer le degré de mouillage du renfort dans un SMC. Cette norme est applicable pour le contrôle de la qualité chez l'utilisateur et aussi pour le contrôle de la production du SMC chez le fournisseur.
