Building acoustics - Estimation of acoustic performance of buildings from the performance of elements - Part 3: Airborne sound insulation against outdoor sound (ISO 12354-3:2017)
ISO 12354-3:2017 specifies a calculation model to estimate the sound insulation or the sound pressure level difference of a façade or other external surface of a building. The calculation is based on the sound reduction index of the different elements from which the façade is constructed and it includes direct and flanking transmission. The calculation gives results which correspond approximately to the results from field measurements in accordance with ISO 16283‑3. Calculations can be carried out for frequency bands or for single number ratings.
The calculation results can also be used for calculating the indoor sound pressure level due to for instance road traffic (see Annex E).
ISO 12354-3:2017 describes the principles of the calculation model, lists the relevant quantities and defines its applications and restrictions.

ISO 12354-3:2017 spécifie un modèle de calcul permettant de déterminer l'isolement acoustique ou la différence de niveau de pression acoustique d'une façade ou de toute autre surface extérieure d'un bâtiment. Le calcul repose sur l'indice d'affaiblissement acoustique des différents éléments dont se compose la façade en incluant les transmissions directes et latérales. Il donne des résultats qui correspondent approximativement à ceux obtenus à partir de mesurages in situ conformément à l'ISO 16283‑3. Les calculs peuvent être effectués pour des bandes de fréquences en indices uniques.
Les résultats du calcul peuvent également servir à calculer le niveau de pression acoustique intérieur dû, par exemple, à la circulation routière (voir l'Annexe E).
ISO 12354-3:2017 décrit les principes du modèle de calcul, liste les grandeurs significatives, et définit les applications et les limites de ce modèle.

Dokument opisuje računske modele, oblikovane za oceno izolacije med prostori v stavbah pred zvokom v zraku, pri katerih se uporabljajo predvsem izmerjene vrednosti, značilne za neposredni ali posredni stranski prenos zvoka skozi gradbene elemente, ki so udeleženi pri prenosu zvoka, ter teoretično izpeljane metode širjenja zvoka v gradbenih elementih.
Opisan je podrobni model za izračun v frekvenčnih pasovih, pri čemer se iz rezultatov izračuna lahko oceni enoštevilčna vrednost zvočne izolirnosti. Iz tega je izpeljan poenostavljeni model z omejenim področjem uporabe, pri katerem se ocena enoštevilčne vrednosti zvočne izolacije izračuna neposredno iz enoštevilčnih ocen za elemente.
Dokument opisuje osnove računskih shem, navaja relevantne veličine in določa njihovo uporabnost ter omejitve. Namenjen je akustičnim strokovnjakom in daje, upoštevajoč lokalne okoliščine, okvir za razvoj uporabnih dokumentov in orodij za druge uporabnike na področju izgradnje objektov.
V opisanih računskih modelih se uporablja najsplošnejši inženirski pristop z jasno navezavo na izmerljive veličine, ki določajo obnašanje gradbenih elementov. V tem dokumentu so opisane znane omejitve teh računskih modelov. Vendar naj se uporabniki zavedajo, da obstajajo tudi drugi računski modeli, vsak z lastno uporabnostjo in omejitvami.
Modeli temeljijo na izkušnjah z napovedovanjem v stanovanjskih stavbah. Uporabljajo se lahko tudi za druge vrste stavb, pri čemer pa mora biti zagotovljeno, da konstrukcijski sistemi in mere elementov niso bistveno drugačni od tistih v stanovanjskih stavbah.

Introduction
This document is part of a series specifying calculation models in building acoustics.
Although this document covers the main types of building construction it cannot as yet cover all
variations in the construction of buildings. It sets out an approach for gaining experience for future
improvements and developments.
The accuracy of this standard can only be specified in detail after widespread comparisons with field
data, which can only be gathered over a period of time after establishing the prediction model. To help
the user in the meantime, indications of the accuracy have been given, based on earlier comparisons

Ta dokument (EN ISO 12354-3:2017) je pripravil tehnični odbor ISO/TC 43, Akustika, v sodelovanju s
tehničnim odborom CEN/TC 126, Akustične lastnosti gradbenih elementov in stavb, katerega sekretariat
vodi AFNOR.
Ta evropski standard mora dobiti status nacionalnega standarda bodisi z objavo istovetnega besedila
ali z razglasitvijo najpozneje februarja 2018, nasprotujoče nacionalne standarde pa je treba razveljaviti

Akustika, SC 2, Akustika v stavbah, v skladu s sporazumom o tehničnem sodelovanju med ISO in CEN
(Dunajski sporazum).
Ta prva izdaja razveljavlja in nadomešča izdajo ISO 15712-3:2005, ki je strokovno revidirana.

Uvod
Ta dokument je del skupine standardov, v katerih so opisani modeli za izračun akustike v stavbah.
Čeprav dokument obravnava glavne vrste gradbenih konstrukcij, doslej še ni mogoče zajeti vseh različic
konstrukcij v stavbah. Standard določa način obravnave z namenom, da se pridobijo izkušnje za
prihodnje izboljšave in razvoj.
Točnost tega standarda se lahko podrobno določi šele s široko primerjavo podatkov s terena, ki se lahko
zberejo šele po daljšem času po uvedbi modela za napovedovanje. V vmesnem času so uporabnikom
v pomoč navedbe o točnosti, ki temeljijo na prejšnjih primerjavah s primerljivimi modeli za
napovedovanje. Odgovornost uporabnika (tj. osebe, organizacije, uradne osebe) je, da opozori na
posledice točnosti, povezane z merilnimi postopki ali metodami napovedovanja, s tem, da določi zahteve
za vhodne podatke in/ali navede varne meje rezultatov ali uporabi nekatere druge popravke.
