This standard specifies a method for determining the flow rate/pressure drop relationship of components for plastics piping when tested using air at 25 mbar.It is applicable to mechanical fittings, valves, tapping tees and other ancil- laries intended to be used in polyethylene (PE) piping systems for supply of gaseous fuels. The data obtained may be used to calculate the flow of such gases for a specified pressure drop.

La présente norme décrit une méthode pour la détermination du rapport gazeux/ perte de charge des composants pour des canalisations en plastiques, les essais ayant lieu avec de l'air à 25 mbar. Elle s'applique aux raccords mécaniques, auxrobinets et aux prises de branchement ainsi qu'aux équipements auxiliaires dont l'utilisation est prévue dans des systèmes de canalisations en polyéthylène (PE)pour la distribution de combustibles gazeux. Les résultats obtenus peuvent êtreutilisés pour calculer le débit de ces gaz pour une perte de charge spécifiée.
