Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN).

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an

1 Scope
This document specifies the required characteristics, tests and tooling applicable to female electrical
contacts 017, type A, crimp, class P, used in elements of connection (relay bases) according to
EN 3155-002.
It shall be used together with EN 3155-001.
The associated male contacts are defined in the standards of relays associated to the relay bases listed in
EN 3155-002.

4 Required characteristics
4.1 Specific characteristics
Type A contacts are for general application and class P with an operating temperature range from −65 °C
to 125 °C.
According to EN 2593-001 Clause 1 "Scope".
Relay bases in accordance with this standard shall be used at ambient temperatures between −65 °C and
125 °C and at altitudes up to 25 000 m and EN 3155-001 subclause 4.2.
