Reinforcement - Specifications for woven fabrics - Part 3: Specific requirements
1.1 This Part 3 of EN 13417 defines a specification for woven fabrics made from continuous filament reinforcement yarns, tows and rovings, which may be used as the basis for specifications.
The specification defines those parameters which shall be specified plus other parameters which may be specified if required for a particular application or processing method.
1.2 The specification does not define absolute or nominal values for any parameter. The value of a specified parameter is to be defined by the manufacturer but this specification defines the method of test to be used to determine the value of each specified parameter and the tolerance about which the parameter shall be controlled by the manufacturer.
1.3 The parameters which shall always be defined in any woven reinforcement fabric specification are defined in 4.1. In 4.2 the manufacturer shall define other obligatory information to be included in the specification. Other parameters can be included in the specification by agreement between manufacture and customer. These parameters are defined in clause 4.3.

1.1 Teil 3 der EN 13417 legt die Anforderungen, die als Grundlage für Spezifikationen verwendet werden dürfen,
für Gewebe, die aus Endlosfilamentverstärkungsgarnen, Werge und Rovings hergestellt wurden, fest.
Zusätzlich können jene Parameter, die für besondere Anwendungen oder Prozesse notwendig sind, vereinbart
werden.
1.2 Diese Norm definiert keine absoluten oder nominellen Werte der Parameter. Der Wert eines festgelegten
Parameters ist durch den Hersteller zu definieren, jedoch definiert diese Norm die Prüfverfahren, die anzuwenden
sind, um die Werte der Parameter festzustellen, und die Art, wie die Grenzabweichungen durch den Hersteller
kontrolliert werden müssen.
1.3 Die Parameter, welche immer an jedem Gewebe bestimmt werden müssen, sind in 4.1 definiert. Andere
verbindliche Angaben für die Spezifikation sind in 4.2 definiert. Parameter, welche in einer Spezifikation festgelegt
werden können, sind durch den Hersteller in Abstimmung mit dem Kunden zu definieren. Diese Parameter sind in
4.3 definiert.

1.1 Cette partie 3 de la En 13417 donne une spécification pouvant etre utilisée comme base de spécifications pour les tissus décrits dans la partie 1.
La spécification définit les parametres qui doivent etre spécifiés ainsi que d'autres parametres qui peuvent etre spécifiés si nécessaire dans le cadre d'une application ou d'une mise en ?uvre particuliere.
1.2 La spécification ne définit pas les valeurs absolues ou nominales des parametres. La valeur d'un parametre spécifié doit etre défini par le fabricant mais cette spécification indique la méthode d'essai a utiliser pour déterminer la valeur de chaque parametre spécifié et la tolérance avec laquelle le parametre doit etre contrôlé par le fabricant.
1.3 Les parametres qui doivent toujours etre spécifiés dans les spécifications de tissus quelles qu'elles soient sont définis dans la clause 4.1. La clause 4.2 reprend d'autres types de parametres obligatoires a inclure dans une spécification. Enfin, d'autres parametres peuvent etre inclus dans la spécification par accord entre le fabricant et le client.

EN 13417-3:2001 (E)54 Specification4.1 Obligatory specified parametersFor each woven reinforcement fabric manufactured in accordance with this specification, the manufacturer shalldefine the nominal values of all the parameters included in Tables 1 and 2. These parameters are divided into twogroups. Those given in Table 1 shall be defined and are subject to control by the manufacturer to the definedtolerances.
