IEC 60063:2015 provides series of preferred values for the resistance of resistors and for the capacitance of capacitors. The definition of such series with a defined numeric resolution is a basic prerequisite for the marking and coding of capacitors and resistors with their respective capacitance or resistance values as described in IEC 60062. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: - revision of the information on a relationship between an E Series and the tolerance of a resistance or capacitance value of a respective component; - introduction of advice on a possible deduction from the marking of a component to an associated E Series and also to an associated tolerance; - complete editorial revision.

IEC 60717:2012 applies to capacitors and resistors with unidirectional wire terminations intended for use in electronic equipment. This standard provides a method for determination of the space required by capacitors and resistors with unidirectional wire terminations. NOTE: Instead of measuring the actual space, it may be sufficient to ensure that a component fits into the maximum space for which it is designed. This may be achieved by means of fixed gauges. The main technical changes with respect to the first edition are the following: - employment of the millimetre-based grid, the preferred grid system given in IEC 60097, - employment of SI units only, causing deletion of the imperial dimensions from Table 1, - reduction of the tolerance on the chamfer depth in Figure 1, and - introduction of requirements on information to be given in a relevant specification.

IEC 60915:2006 contains preferred dimensions for shaft ends and bushes and for the mounting of single-hole, bush-mounted, shaft-operated variable capacitors, variable resistors and potentiometers. If other dimensions not listed in this standard have to be used, it is recommended to select them also from IEC 60390 and IEC 60620. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 1987 and constitutes a minor revision, related to tables, figures and references. This bilingual version, published in 2008-07, corresponds to the English version. The contents of the corrigendum of December 2008 have been included in this copy.

IEC 60301:2012 gives a series of preferred diameters of the finished wire terminations of capacitors and resistors for use in electronic equipment. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition, published in 1971, and its Amendment 1, published in 1972, and constitutes a technical revision. The main technical changes with respect to the second edition are the following: - employment of SI units only in the normative part of this standard, causing transfer of all imperial dimensions from Table 1 to the informative Annex A, - addition of two smaller diameters of wire terminations in Table 1, and - tightening of the tolerance ranges defined by minimum and maximum diameters in Table 1.

IEC 60146-1-1:2024 specifies the requirements for the performance of all semiconductor power converters and semiconductor power switches using controllable and/or non-controllable electronic valve devices. It is primarily intended to specify the basic requirements for converters in general and the requirements applicable to line commutated converters for conversion of AC power to DC power or vice versa. Parts of this document are also applicable to other types of electronic power converter provided that they do not have their own product standards. This fifth edition introduces four main changes: a) re-edition of the whole standard according to the current directives; b) deletion of safety-related descriptions considering coordination with IEC 62477 series; c) changes of calculation methods of inductive voltage regulation; d) changes considering coordination with IEC 61378 series.

IEC 60966-2-1:2024 is a sectional specification that relates to flexible RF coaxial cable assemblies operating in the transverse electromagnetic mode (TEM). It establishes uniform requirements for testing the electrical, mechanical and climatic properties of flexible cable assemblies composed of flexible RF coaxial cables and RF coaxial connectors. This part of IEC 60966 applies to flexible cable assemblies composed of flexible RF coaxial cables and coaxial connectors. Flexible RF cable assemblies are widely used in mobile communication systems, microwave test equipment, radar, aerospace and other fields. NOTE 1 For the purposes of this sectional specification, a cable assembly is always regarded as an integral unit. All specifications apply to the finished assembly and not to individual and non-assembled parts thereof. NOTE 2 This sectional specification can be supplemented with detail specifications giving additional details as required by the particular application. This application will not necessarily require all tests.
