This standard applies primarily to machines which are manufactured after the date of publication of this standard.

Die Maschine beginnt an der Außenkante der Einfüllöffnung oder der Beschickungseinrichtung, falls diese ein integrieter Teil der Maschine ist, und endet mit dem Entnahmebereich. Nur die in Abschnitt 4 angegebenen und in Abschnitt 5 behandelten signifikanten Gefährdungen sind Gegenstand dieser Norm.
