Ferronickel ingots or pieces - Sampling for analysis (ISO 8050:1988)
Applies to ferronickel lots in ingot or piece form with a view to obtaining a representative laboratory sample for the determination of the chemical composition of the lot. A choice is to be made between a first procedure that can be applied at the producer's plant during casting or a second procedure that can be applied to lots as delivered at the buyer's premises. Includes two alternatives for sample taking (drilling and milling). Each party is entitled to participate in sampling operations.

S'applique aux câbles coaxiaux de communication. Elle spécifie plusieurs méthodes d'essai pour déterminer:
- la résistance du diélectrique au flux thermique (résistance du diélectrique à la distorsion mécanique induite par la contrainte radiale imposée par le conducteur intérieur à température élevée);
- la résistance à la chaleur (précédemment "résistance au choc thermique" résistance du diélectrique ou de la gaine à température élevée);
- le comportement des câbles semi-rigides à la chaleur (aptitude de la structure des câbles semi-rigides à résister à la dilatation du diélectrique à température élevée);
- la stabilité dimensionnelle (déplacement des éléments constituants du câble les uns par rapport aux autres afin de démontrer l'aptitude d'un câble à être utilisé avec des connecteurs).
