This standard applies to valves, pipes, filters and meters of oil supply installations for automatic supply of one or more oil burners or oil consuming units with fuel oil from one or more central storage tanks under static or dynamic pressure. This standard covers all the above mentioned components between the connection to one or more tanks and the connection to oil burners or oil consuming units, including the direct series-connected shut-off devices.

Diese Norm gilt für Ölförderaggregate, Ölversorgungsbehälter und zugehörige Regel- und Sicherheitseinrichtungen von Ölversorgungsanlagen zur selbstättigen Versorgung eines oder mehrerer Ölbrenner bzw. Ölverbrauchsstellen mit leichtem Heizöl (einer maximalen Viskosität von 10 mm2/s bei 20°C) aus einem oder mehreren zentralen Öllagerbehältern under statischem oder dynamischem Druck. Sie gilt für alle oben genannten Bauelemente vom Anschluß an den bzw. die Lagerbehälter bis zum Anschluß an den Ölbrenner bzw. Ölverbrauchsstellen einschließlich der unmittelbar vorgeschalteten Absperreinrichtungen.

Cette Norme Européenne s'applique aux vannes, conduites, filtres et compteurs dans les systèmes d'alimentation automatique de fioul domestique pour un ou plusieurs brûleurs ou unités de consommation de fioul domestique; les brûleurs sont alimentés à partir d'un ou plusieurs réservoirs centraux de fioul domestique, sous pression dynamique ou statique. Cette norme concerne tous les composants mentionnés ci-dessus et situés entre les connexions du ou des réservoirs de stockage et le brûleur de fioul domestique ou l'unité de consommation de fioul domestique, incluant les différents systèmes de sécurité qui déclenchent l'installation.
