This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of aflatoxin contents of greater than 8 ug/kg. The method has been successfully validated in an interlaboratory study according to ISO 5725:1986 on maize containing 24,5 ug/kg,peanut butter containing 8,4 ug/kg and raw peanuts containing 16 ug/kg of total aflatoxins. Some laboratory experiences have shown that this method can be used to several types of cereals, oilseed products, shell-fruits, dried fruits and derived products, after in-house validation.

Dieser Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Aflatoxingehaltes von mehr als 8 ug/kg fest. Das Verfahren wurde im Ringversuch nach ISO 5725:1986 erfolgreich an Mais mit 24,5 ug/kg, Erdnußcreme mit 8,4 ug/kg und unbehandelten Erdnüssen mit 16 ug/kg Gesamtaflatoxingehalt geprüft. Einige Laborerfahrungen haben gezeigt, daß dieses Verfahren nachdem es intern validiert wurde, auch auf verschiedene Getreidearten, Ölsaaten, Nüsse, Trockenobst und verwandte Produkte angewendet werden kann.

La présente norme européenne spécifie une méthode de détermination des teneurs en aflatoxines supérieures à 8 ug/kg. Cette méthode a été validée lors d'un essai interlaboratoires selon l'ISO 5725:1986, sur du maïs, du beurre d'arachide et des arachides brutes ayant respectivement une teneur en aflatoxines totales de 24,5 ug/kg, 8,4 ug/kg et 16 ug/kg. Certaines expériences en laboratoire ont montré que la présente méthode peut être utilisée avec plusieurs types de céréales, produits oléagineux, fruits à coque, fruits secs et produits dérivés, après validation interne.
