This European Standard specifies some magnetic and mechanical properties of sintered soft magnetic metals which are used for components made by a powder metallurgical process only.
This standard does not apply to magnetically soft castings or to semi-finished products.

This European Standard specifies the magnetic materials used principally for relays. In particular it specifies general requirements, the magnetic properties, geometric characteristics and tolerances.
This European Standard applies to pure iron and steel products generally delivered in the semi-processed state.
These materials correspond to clauses A, B, C1 and C2 of IEC 60404-1.

This European Standard is applicable to magnetic steel sheet and strip for the construction of magnetic circuits for use in the frequency range 400 Hz to 10 000 Hz. Its object is to define the terminology and to specify the methods for the measurement of magnetic properties of magnetic steel sheet and strip.

In particular it gives the technological, mechanical and magnetic properties, the dimensional tolerances as well as the conditions of acceptance. This European Standard applies to material used for the poles and rims of rotating electrical machines. These materials correspond to clause D2 of IEC 404-1.

This European Standard is intended to define a measurement method for the determination of the characteristics of surface insulation resistance of magnetic sheet and strip.  This method is applicable to magnetic sheet and strip insulated on one or both surfaces and is suitable for manufacturing control in the application of insulation coatings.

This European Standard defines the grades in thin non-oriented magnetic steel strip in nominal thicknesses of 0,05 mm; 0,10 mm; 0,15 mm and 0,20 mm; and of thin oriented magnetic steel strip in nominal thicknesses of 0,05 mm; 0,10 mm and 0,15 mm. In particular, it gives general requirements, magnetic properties, geometric characteristics and tolerances and technological characteristics, as well as inspection procedure.

This European standard specifies the method of measurement of the coercivity of magnetic materials in an open magnetic circuit.
It applies to magnetic materials having a coercivity up to 500 kA/m. Special precautions to take in measuring coercivities below 40 A/m and above 160 kA/m are given in annex A.

This European Standard is intended to define the test methods used for the determination of the following geometrical characteristics of magnetic steel and strip: - flatness; - residual curvature; - edge camber; - deviation from the shearing line due to internal stresses; - burr height of cut edges. This European Standard applies to magnetic steel sheet and strip intended for the construction of magnetic circuits and corresponding to clauses B2, C21 and C22 of IEC 404-1.

This European Standard specifies the steel grades of grain-oriented electrical sheet and strip in nominal thicknesses of 0,23 mm, 0,27 mm, 0,30 mm and 0,35 mm; in particular, general requirements, magnetic properties, geometric characteristics and tolerances and technological characteristics, as well as inspection procedures.
This European Standard applies to Goss textured grain-oriented magnetic sheet steel supplied in the final annealed condition in sheets or coils, and intended for the construction of magnetic circuits.
The materials are grouped into two classes :
-   conventional grain oriented material ;
-   high permeability grain oriented material .
They correspond to Clause C22 of IEC 60404-1:2000.

In particular, it specifies general requirements, the magnetic properties, geometric characteristics and tolerances, technological characteristics as well as the inspection procedure. This European Standard applies to materials supplied in the fully annealed condition intended for the construction of magnetic circuits. It does not apply to semi-processed material. These magnetic materials correspond to Clause C21 of IEC 404-1.

This European Standard applies to material intended for the construction of magnetic circuits. These magnetic materials correspond to Clause C21 of IEC 404-1.

This European Standard defines the grades of cold-rolled electrical non-orientednon-alloyed steel sheet and strip delivered in the semi-processed condition, that is without final heat treatment of 0,50mm and 0,65mm nominal thickness. It specifies general requirements, the magnetic properties, the geometric characteristics and tolerances, technological characteristics as well as the inspection procedure. This European Standard applies to material intended for the construction of magnetic circuits. These magnetic materials corresponds to Clause B2 of IEC 404-1.

This European Standard is defines the grades of grain-oriented electrical sheet steel in nominal thicknesses of 0,23mm, 0,27mm, 0,30mm and 0,35mm. In particular, it gives general requirements, magnetic properties, geometric characteristics and tolerances and technological characteristics, as well as inspection procedures. This European Standard applies to Goss textured grain- oriented magnetic sheet steel supplied in the final annealed condition in sheets or coils, and intended for the construction of magnetic circuits.
