This document specifies the methods of examining the knowledge and skill set of the PE-welder required to carry out on-site joint casing connections on thermally insulated single and twin pipe systems for directly buried hot and cold water networks according to and .The application of these specified methods specifications ensures that the examination is carried out according to a standardised examining procedure.
This document applies to the following processes:
- preparatory works for joint casing assembly;
- assembling and testing the elements for surveillance systems;
For special surveillance systems it can be important to have additional training.preparatory works for joint casing system installation;
- assembling weldable joint casing system;executing hot gas welding and hot gas extrusion weldingverifying joint tightness (leakage testing);
- thermally insulating the joint casing (PUR foaming or half-shell);
- sealing fill & vent openings (weldable plugs);
- assessing overall installation quality of the completed joint connection (non-destructive).

Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren zur Prüfung der für die baustellenseitige Herstellung von Mantelrohrverbindungen von wärmegedämmten Einzel- und Doppelrohr-Verbundsystemen für direkt erdverlegte Fernwärme- und Fernkältenetze nach EN 13941 1:2019 [17] und EN 13941 2:2019 [18] erforderlichen Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten von PE-Schweißern fest.
Durch die Anwendung dieser festgelegten Verfahren wird sichergestellt, dass die Prüfung nach einem genormten Prüfverfahren erfolgt.
Dieses Dokument behandelt die folgenden Prozesse:
- Vorarbeiten zur Muffenmontage;
- Montage und Prüfung der Elemente von Überwachungssystemen;
ANMERKUNG Für spezielle Überwachungssysteme können zusätzliche Schulungen erforderlich sein.
- Vorarbeiten zur Montage von Mantelrohrverbindungssystemen;
- Montage von schweißbaren Mantelrohrverbindungssystemen;
- Heißgasschweißen und Heißgas-Extrusionsschweißen;
- Überprüfung der Dichtheit von Verbindungen (Dichtheitsprüfung);
- Wärmedämmung der Verbindungsmuffe (PUR-Verschäumung oder Halbschale);
- Befüll- und Entlüftungsöffnungen der Dichtung (schweißbare Stopfen);
- (zerstörungsfreie) Beurteilung der allgemeinen Qualität der Installation der fertiggestellten Verbindung.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes d’examen des connaissances et compétences exigées d’un soudeur PE pour réaliser des raccordements de protection de l’assemblage sur site sur des systèmes monotubes ou bitubes isolés thermiquement pour les réseaux d'eau chaude et froide enterrés directement conformément à l’EN 13941‑1:2019 [17] et à l’EN 13941‑2:2019 [18].
L’application de ces méthodes spécifiées garantit que l’examen est réalisé selon un mode opératoire d’examen normalisé.
Le présent document s’applique aux processus suivants :
- travaux préparatoires pour la protection de l’assemblage ;
- assemblage et essai des éléments destinés aux systèmes de surveillance ;
NOTE Une formation complémentaire peut être nécessaire pour les systèmes de surveillance spéciaux.
- travaux préparatoires pour l’installation du système de protection de l’assemblage ;
- assemblage du système de protection de l’assemblage soudable ;
- exécution du soudage au gaz chaud et du soudage par extrusion au gaz chaud ;
- contrôle d’étanchéité des joints (essais d’étanchéité) ;
- isolation thermique de la protection de l’assemblage (injection de mousse PUR ou demi-gaine) ;
- étanchéité des trous de remplissage et de mise à l’évent (bouchons soudables) ;
- évaluation (non destructive) de la qualité d’installation globale du raccord de protection de l’assemblage.
