Textiles - Methods of testing the fibre proof properties of fabrics: Rubbing test
This European Standard describes a method for the determination of the fibre-proof properties of a fabric using a rubbing apparatus, when the fabric is tested against the filling material (either loose fibre or wadding) that will be used in the final product. This European Standard is applicable to all types of bedding articles, clothing and quilted products filled with textile materials.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Faserdichtigkeit eines Flächengebildes
mit einem Gerät zur Simulation der Kissenbeanspruchung, wenn das Flächengebilde gegen das Füllmaterial
(entweder lose Fasern oder Wattierung) geprüft wird, das im Endprodukt zum Einsatz kommt. Diese
Europäische Norm gilt für alle Typen von Bettwaren, Bekleidung und gesteppte Erzeugnisse, die mit textilen
Materialien gefüllt sind.

La présente Norme européenne décrit une méthode de détermination des propriétés d’étanchéité aux fibres
d’un tissu au moyen d’un appareil de frottement, lorsque le tissu est soumis à l’essai contre le matériau de
garnissage (fibres en vrac ou ouate) qui sera utilisé pour le produit final. La présente Norme européenne
s’applique à tous les types d’articles de literie, de produits vestimentaires et de produits matelassés garnis de
matériaux textiles.
