This European Standard specifies performance requirements of an adhesive when tested to a standard method with a characteristic type of floor covering. The values defined in this standard are considered to indicate a general suitability for use of an adhesive with the corresponding group of floor coverings. This standard can also be used for the evaluation of a particular floor covering with the corresponding type of adhesive.
This standard does not contain criteria or recommendations for the practical installation of floor coverings. The values given in this standard also do not guarantee the complete functionality of combinations of adhesives and floor coverings in practical application.
Klebstoffe für Bodenbeläge - Anforderungen an das mechanische und elektrische Verhalten
Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an einen Klebstoff fest, der nach einem genormten Verfahren zusammen mit einer bestimmten Bodenbelagsart geprüft wird. Die in dieser Norm definierten Werte werden als Hinweis für eine allgemeine Eignung zur Anwendung eines Klebstoffs mit der entsprechenden Gruppe von Bodenbelägen angesehen. Diese Norm kann aber auch zur Bewertung eines bestimmten Bodenbelags in Verbindung mit der entsprechenden Klebstoffart angewendet werden.
Die vorliegende Norm enthält keine Kriterien oder Empfehlungen für die praktische Verlegung von Bodenbelägen. Die in dieser Norm angegebenen Werte bieten auch keine komplette Leistungsgarantie für die praktische Anwendung der Kombinationen von Klebstoffen und Bodenbelägen.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences de performance d'un adhésif essayé par une méthode normalisée avec un type spécifié de revêtement de sol. Les valeurs définies dans cette norme sont considérées comme indicatrices d'une aptitude générale à l'emploi d'un adhésif donné avec le groupe correspondant de revêtement de sol. Cette norme peut également servir à l'évaluation d'un revêtement de sol particulier et du type d'adhésif correspondant. Les valeurs données dans la norme ne garantissent en revanche pas la complète fonctionnalité des combinaisons d'adhésifs et de revêtements de sol en application pratique.
