This European Standard applies to agglomerated stones to be installed by adhesive on walls and floors.

Diese Europäische Norm legt das zur Bestimmung von Maßhaltigkeit und Verwölbung (Werfen) von künstlich hergestellten Steinen anzuwendende Prüfverfahren fest, wenn diese mit Wasser in Kontakt kommen. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für künstlich hergestellte Steine, die mit Klebstoff an Wänden und auf Fußböden zu verlegen sind. Die Prüfung wird hauptsächlich vorgenommen, um das Material entsprechend dem Grad der Empfindlichkeit gegenüber Wasser zu klassifizieren und um einen geeigneten Klebstoff für die Verlegung der künstlich hergestellten Steine auszuwählen.

- Class A - stable, D < 0.3 mm
- Class B - sensitive, 0.3 mm ≤ D < 0.6 mm
- Class C - unstable/very sensitive, D ≥ 0.6 mm
- Adhesive guidance (Annex B):
- Class A: adhesive selected per substrate/other requirements.
- Class B: prefer fast-setting/drying cementitious adhesive (class F, EN 12004); if displacement still ≥ 0.3 mm, use water-free reaction resin adhesive (type R, EN 12004).
- Class C: use water-free reaction resin adhesive (type R).
