Glass in building - Coated glass - Part 1: Definitions and classification
This European Standard defines the characteristics, properties and classification of coated glass for use in building.
Test methods and procedures used to establish durability are in Parts 2 and 3 of this standard.
Factory production control and evaluation of conformity, including Annex ZA, are in Part 4 of this standard.
Test methods for determination of self cleaning performances of coated glass are in Part 5.
This standard applies to coated glass for glazing application for use in normally occupied domestic or commercial premises.
This standard is not applicable to:
adhesive backed polymeric films on glass (prEN 15755-1);
mirrors made from silvered float glass (EN 1036-1);
enamelled glass (EN 12150-1).
Glas im Bauwesen - Beschichtetes Glas - Teil 1: Definitionen und Klasseneinteilung
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Merkmale, Eigenschaften und Klasseneinteilung für beschichtetes Glas für das Bauwesen fest.
In Teil 2 und Teil 3 dieser Norm sind Prüfverfahren und Verfahrensweisen zur Bestimmung der Haltbarkeit behandelt.
Informationen zur werkseigenen Produktionskontrolle und Konformitätsbewertung, einschließlich Anhang ZA, sind in Teil 4 dieser Norm enthalten.
Teil 5 umfasst Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung von Selbstreinigungseigenschaften von beschichtetem Glas.
Diese Norm gilt für beschichtetes Glas für Verglasungen in üblichen Wohnhäusern oder kommerziell genutzten Gebäuden.
Diese Norm ist nicht anwendbar für:
- Gläser mit selbstklebender Polymerfolie (prEN 15755-1),
- Spiegel aus silberbeschichtetem Floatglas (EN 1036-1),
- emailliertes Glas (EN 12150-1, EN 1863-1, EN 14179-1);
- lackiertes Glas (Norm in Erarbeitung).
Verre dans la construction - Verre à couche - Partie 1: Définitions et classification
La présente Norme européenne définit les caractéristiques, les propriétés et la classification du verre à couche employé dans le bâtiment.
Les méthodes d’essai et les modes opératoires utilisés pour déterminer la durabilité sont repris dans les Parties 2 et 3 de la présente norme.
Le contrôle de la production en usine et l’évaluation de la conformité, y compris l’Annexe ZA, sont traités dans la Partie 4 de la présente norme.
Les méthodes d’essai permettant de déterminer les performances autonettoyantes des verres à couche sont spécifiées dans la Partie 5.
La présente norme s’applique au verre à couche utilisé pour vitrer des locaux domestiques ou commerciaux occupés de manière normale.
La présente norme ne s’applique pas :
- au verre recouvert d’un film polymère adhésif (prEN 15755-1) ;
- aux miroirs en glace argentée (EN 1036-1) ;
- au verre émaillé (EN 12150-1, EN 1863-1, EN 14179-1) ;
- au verre laqué (norme en développement).

Ta evropski standard določa značilnosti, lastnosti in klasifikacijo stekla z nanosi, ki se uporablja v gradbeništvu. Preskusne metode in postopki, ki se uporabljajo za ugotavljanje trajnosti, so opisani v 2. in 3. delu tega standarda. Kontrola proizvodnje v obratu in vrednotenje skladnosti, vključno z dodatkom ZA, sta zajeta v 4. delu tega standarda. Preskusne metode za ugotavljanje samočistilnih lastnosti stekla z nanosi so zajete v 5. delu. Ta standard se nanaša na steklo z nanosi za zasteklitev, ki se uporablja v običajno zasedenih stanovanjskih ali poslovnih objektih.

Part 3: Requirements and test methods for C and D coatings Part 4: Evaluation of conformity/Product standard Part 5: Test method and classification for the self-cleaning performances of coated glass surfaces The main changes compared to the previous edition are:
reference to the future EN 1096-5: Test method and classification for the Self-cleaning performances of coated glass surfaces;
Clause 3, Terms and definitions, and Clause 5, Glass substrates, were reorganised and completed;
addition of a definition of shading coefficient (6.3); the wavelengths defining the thermal range were corrected according to EN 12898; the identity card is moved to an informative annex.
