This European Standard specifies the performance requirements for pumps used within the scope of measuring methods for the determination of the concentration of chemical agents in the workplace atmosphere. The pumps considered in this standard are mainly used for aerosol sampling. The standard is valid for pumps with a nominal volumetric flow rate within the range 5 l/min to 400 l/min.

Diese Pumpen, die in dieser Norm behandelt werden, werden hauptsächlich zum Probenehmen von Aerosolen verwendet. Diese Norm gilt für Pumpen mit einem Volumendurchfluß im Bereich zwischen 5 l/min und 400 l/min.

La présente norme spécifie les exigences de performance des pompes utilisées dans le cadre des méthodes de mesurage visant à déterminer la concentration des agents chimiques dans l'atmosphère du lieu de travail. Les pompes faisant l'objet de cette norme sont principalemetn utilisés pour l'échantillonnage des aérosols. La présente norme européenne est valable pour les pompes dont le débit volumétrique nominal se situe dans un domaine allant de 5 l/min à 400 l/min.
