This European Standard specifies the visual, dimensional, mechanical and durability characteristics of reinforced membranes made of plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-P) sheets assembled together a polyester reinforcement, whose nominal thickness is greater than or equal to 1,5 mm, intended to be used to contribute to the leaktightness of inground swimming pools, implemented in situ. It also specifies the characteristics of the composition of the PVC-P used to produce the membranes.
It applies specifically to reinforced membranes intended for use in swimming pools where the water temperature is less than or equal to 32 °C. If the membrane manufacturer permits a temperature of water continuously maintained above 32 °C, this document also applies.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die optischen und mechanischen Eigenschaften sowie die Maß- und Beständigkeits¬eigenschaften von verstärkten Bahnen fest, die sich aus Folien aus weichmacherhaltigem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC P) mit einer dazwischen befindlichen Polyester-Verstärkungsschicht zusammensetzen, mit einer Nenn¬dicke größer gleich 1,5 mm, die für Abdichtungszwecke für erdverlegte Schwimmbäder vorgesehen und lokal anzuwenden sind. Weiterhin legt es die Beschaffenheitsmerkmale des für die Herstellung der Bahnen verwendeten PVC P fest.
Es gilt besonders für verstärkte Bahnen, die für den Einsatz in Schwimmbädern mit einer Wasser¬temperatur kleiner gleich 32 °C vorgesehen sind. Dieses Dokument gilt auch wenn der Bahnenhersteller eine Wassertemperatur, die über 32 °C fortlaufend aufrechterhalten wird zulässt.

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les caractéristiques visuelles, dimensionnelles, mécaniques et de durabilité des membranes armées constituées de feuilles en poly(chlorure de vinyle) plastifié (PVC-P) renforcées par une armature en polyester, d’épaisseur nominale supérieure ou égale à 1,5 mm, destinées à contribuer à l’étanchéité des piscines enterrées, mises en oeuvre in situ. Il spécifie également les caractéristiques des compositions de PVC-P utilisées pour la production des membranes.
En particulier, il s’applique aux membranes armées destinées aux piscines dont la température d’eau est inférieure ou égale à 32 °C. Si le fabricant de membranes permet une température d’eau constamment maintenue au-dessus de 32 °C, le présent document s’applique également.

Ta evropski standard določa vizualne lastnosti, mere, mehanske lastnosti in trajnost okrepljenih membran iz plastificiranih polivinilkloridnih (PVC-P) plasti, sestavljenih s poliestrsko okrepitvijo, z nominalno debelino, večjo ali enako 1,5 mm, ki prispevajo k neprepustnosti bazenov, vgrajenih v tla, in se namestijo in situ. Določa tudi značilnosti sestave polivinilklorida (PVC-P), ki se uporablja za izdelavo membran. Velja izrecno za homogene membrane, namenjene za uporabo v bazenih s temperaturo vode, ki je manjša ali enaka 32 °C. Če proizvajalec membrane dovoljuje temperaturo vode, ki je stalno višja od 32 °C, ta dokument prav tako velja.
