Diese Norm gilt für Landstege mit 600 mm und 900 mm lichter Breite von Fahrgastschiffen in der Binnenschifffahrt. Sie legt Bauart, Hauptmaße und Prüfbedingungen fest, die aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen eingehalten werden müssen.
Die Landstege mit einer Breite von 900 mm sind für Rollstuhlnutzung geeignet.
ANMERKUNG Ein Landsteg dient als Verkehrsweg z. B. zwischen Fahrgastschiff und Land.
