This standard applies to shoe and leather presses used in the manufacture of footwear, leather and imitation leather goods and other related components.

Maschinen zur Herstellung von Schuhen, Leder- und Kunstlederwaren - Schuh- und Lederpressen - Sicherheitsanforderungen

1.1   Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Schuh- und Lederpressen (siehe 3.1), die zur Herstellung von Schuhwerk, Leder- und Kunstlederwaren und anderen artverwandten Komponenten dienen. Diese Maschinen sind:
-   Sohlenklebepressen (offene und geschlossene Bauarten);
-   Sohlen- und Brandsohlenformpressen;
-   Fersenteilformmaschinen;
-   Einbügelmaschinen für Verstärkungen, Futter und Vorderkappen;
-   Bügelpressen;
-   Markier-, Stempel-, Etikettier- und Prägemaschinen;
-   Stichmarkierungsmaschinen;
-   Walkmaschinen;
-   Automatische Schuh- und Lederpressen:
a)   Vorformmaschinen für thermoplastische Hinterkappen und Hinterkappenpressen;
b)   Integrierte Fertigungssysteme;
c)   Pressen mit beweglichen Stationen in Drehtischbauweise;
-   Umbugpressen;
-   Aktivierpressen;
-   Ein- und Ausleistmaschinen;
-   Deckfleckpressen;
-   Knopfbeziehmaschinen.
1.2   Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für:
-   Stanz- und Perforiermaschinen;

1.3   Diese Europäische Norm spezifiziert die Sicherheitsanforderungen für Bau, Transport, Installation, Einstellen, Einrichten, Programmierung oder Verfahrensumstellung, Bedienung, Reinigung, Wartung, Beseitigung, Abbau und, soweit es die Sicherheit betrifft, auch für die Entsorgung der in 1.1 genannten Maschinen.
Sie berücksichtigt bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung, vorhersehbaren, falschen Gebrauch, Ausfall von Komponenten und Systemfehler.
1.4   Diese Europäische Norm deckt wesentliche in den Schuh-, Leder- und Kunstlederwarenindustrien auftretenden Gefährdungen ab. (Liste der Gefährdungen siehe 4.)
In dieser Europäischen Norm werden nicht präzise technische Maßnahmen zur Herabsetzung der Gefährdung durch Dämpfe und Stäube behandelt.

1.1   La présente norme s'applique aux presses pour la fabrication de chaussures et d'articles en cuir (voir 3.1) utilisées pour la fabrication d'articles chaussants et autres articles en cuir ou matériaux en imitation cuir, ou autres accessoires de même type. La liste de ces machines est la suivante :
- machines à gutter les semelles ;
- machines à galber les semelles et/ou les premières ;
- machines à galber l'emboîtage ;
- machines à gutter les renforts, la doublure et les bouts durs ;
- machines à déplisser ;
- machines à griffer, marquer, étiqueter et gaufrer ;
- machines à imprimer les piqûres ;
- machines à prégalber la tige ;
- presses automatiques pour la fabrication de chaussures et articles en cuirs :
a) machines à prégalber les contreforts thermoplastiques et machines à galber des contreforts ;
b) systèmes intégrés de fabrication ;
c) presses à stations mobiles et configuration rotative ;
- presses à remplier ;
- presses à activer ;
- machines à monter sur forme et à déformer ;
- presses à bonbouter ;
- machines à recouvrir les boutons en cuir.
1.2   La présente norme ne s'applique pas dans les cas suivants :
- machines à découper et à poinçonner ;
