This document specifies the terms and definitions, the test methods and the evaluation of results of watch-glasses with anti-reflective treatments. The document is applicable to sapphire watch-glasses with anti-reflective treatments, and it can also be used as a reference for mineral watch-glasses with anti-reflective treatments.

This standard specifies the technical and functional requirements and test methods for parking terminals installed on or off-street. It applies to unattended terminals used to obtain the right to park for visual and / or electronic control of an unlimited number of road vehicles, against payment or not.
This standard covers only the terminal aspects of the parking system.
This standard does not cover mobile phone applications or pay-on-foot terminals.

This document specifies the terms and definitions, and the signal receiving general measurement method for radio-controlled clocks. It is applicable to the analogical or/and liquid crystal display or/and LED display radio-controlled clocks, and the radio-controlled clock movements can also refer to it.

This document specifies the minimum requirements and test methods for magnetic resistant watches. This document applies to magnetic resistant watches designed to withstand daily magnetic fields. Moreover, it indicates the marking which the manufacturer is authorized to apply to them.

This document concerns whole watches, in which all or some of the components of the external parts are made of hard material, with the exception of watch glasses. It applies to all elements made in massive material whose hardness is greater than or equal to 1 200 Vickers. It describes the performance in terms of resistance to mechanical and thermal shocks, to corrosion, to scratches, to sunlight exposure and also to the wear of its components.

This document specifies the procedure for evaluating the accuracy of quartz watches, individually and by lots (see Annex A which presents the methods for statistical evaluation of accuracy by lot), and the relationship between the accuracy tested and the accuracy classification given by the manufacturer. It applies to quartz watches having accompanying documents on which the accuracy classification is indicated.

This document specifies requirements and test methods for divers' watches and for saturation divers' watches for use in deep diving (see Annex A which deals with watches for saturation diving). It applies to divers' watches designed to withstand diving in water at depths of at least 100 m and equipped with a secured measuring system to indicate the diving time, which is visible in darkness. Moreover, it indicates the marking which the manufacturer is authorized to apply to them.

ISO 16253:2017 specifies the general requirements and test methods for hard coatings obtained by vapour phase deposition processes intended to improve mainly the surface aspect and wear and corrosion resistance, and/or to offer protection against contact-allergy. It is applicable to watch-cases and accessories.

IEC 60086-3:2011(E) specifies dimensions, designation, methods of tests and requirements for primary batteries for watches. In several cases, a menu of test methods is given. ISO 1413:2016 specifies the minimum requirements for shock-resistant wrist watches and describes the corresponding test method. It is based on the simulation of the shock received by a wrist watch while falling from a height of 1 m onto a horizontal wooden floor (an equivalent surface is described in B.1.1).

ISO 3764:2016 specifies the types and fitting dimensions of mechanical and electromechanical watch-movements. This International Standard is applicable to the five following types of movements: - Type 1: round; - Type 2: shaped round; - Type 3: round with double cutting; - Type 4: 5 ˝′′′; - Type 5: 6 × 8′′′.

ISO 3160-2:2015 specifies methods to determine fineness, thickness, corrosion resistance and adhesion for gold alloy coverings on watch-cases and accessories, including bracelets when they are permanently attached to the case. The tests apply only to significant surfaces. ISO 3160-2:2015 applies to all gold alloy coverings specified in ISO 3160‑1.

ISO 19235:2015 specifies the basic parameters, requirements, and testing methods of timing accuracy for analogue quartz clocks, hereinafter referred to as "the quartz clock". ISO 10552:2014 specifies designs and dimensions of crowns and sealed tubes and their tolerances. ISO 10552:2014 is applicable to crowns and sealed tubes of mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic wristwatches of water-resistant designs.

ISO 13074:2012 specifies the fitting dimensions of movements to hands. It is applicable to analogue quartz table and wall clock movements, with and without alarm, that have the following properties: minute wheel shafts with an outer diameter of between 1,3 mm and 3,6 mm; hour wheel, minute wheel, second wheel and alarm wheel shafts made of metal and plastic material. ISO 13074:2012 can be referenced for other types of analogue quartz clock movements.

In general, this part of IEC 60730 applies to timers and time switches for household and similar use that may use electricity, gas, oil, solid fuel, solar thermal energy, etc. or a combination thereof, including heating, air conditioning and similar applications. ISO 23160:2011 specifies tests for the evaluation of the resistance of watch cases and their bracelets to wear, scratching and impacts occurring when wearing the watch. ISO 23160:2011 is applicable mainly to complete watch cases fitted with bracelets. However, certain tests can be applied to the watch case only, to the complete or partial bracelet, or to specially prepared samples.
