CEN/TC 230/WG 1 - Physical and biochemical methods

CEN/TC 230/WG 1 is a Working Group within the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It is named "Physical and biochemical methods" and is responsible for: CEN/TC 230/WG 1 develops standards for the chemical, physical, and biochemical analysis of water to fulfil the requirements within the framework directives. The standardisation harmonises the sampling, methods of measurement, methods of quality control in the EU countries to create analytical values of water constituents for the evaluation of water quality.
