Safety of machine tools - Large numerically controlled turning machines and turning centres
This European Standard specifies the requirements and/or measures to remove the hazards and limit the risks on general purpose numerically controlled large turning machines and turning centres which are designed primarily to work cold metal as defined in 3.1 and 3.2 and herein after referred to as "machines". This Standard covers all significant relevant hazards which are listed in clause 4.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen und/oder Maßnahmen zur Beseitigung von Gefährdungen und zur Reduzierung von Risiken an in 3.1 und 3.2 definierten großen numerisch gesteuerten Drehmaschinen und Drehzentren für allgemeine Anwendung, die vornehmlich für die Kaltbearbeitung von Metall gestaltet sind, fest; diese Drehmaschinen und Drehzentren werden im folgenden als "Maschinen" bezeichnet. Diese Norm deckt die signifikanten Gefährdungen ab, die in Abschnitt 4 aufgeführt sind.

La présente norme européenne fixe les spécifications et/ou les mesures qui doivent etre prises pour éliminer les phénomenes dangereux et limiter les risques présentés par les tours a commande numérique et les centres de tournage de grandes dimensions, d'usage général, tels que définis aux paragraphes 3.1 et 3.2, destinés au travail a froid des métaux et désignés ci-apres par le terme "machine". La présente norme couvre tous les risques significatifs, dont la liste figure a l'article 4.
