Ta mednarodni standard opisuje varnost električnih čistilnih aparatov za gospodinjsko uporabo, ki so namenjeni čiščenju površin, kot so okna, stene in prazni bazeni, z uporabo tekočih čistilnih sredstev ali pare, pri čemer njihova naznačena napetost ne presega 250 V.
