This standard applies to electric motor-driven floor polishing (including waxing and buffing), scrubbing and grinding, scarifying and carpet shampooing appliances primarily designed for industrial and commercial use, with or without attachments including appliances incorporating wet and/or dry suction which are not within the scope of EN 60335-2-10. Appliances incorporating wet and dry suction shall also meet the appropriate requirements for industrial vacuum cleaners.
