Standard se uporablja za vtiče in vtičnice, spojke kablov in aparatov z nazivno obratovalno napetostjo, ki ne presega 690 V enosmerne ali izmenične napetosti in frekvence 500 Hz, ter nazivnim tokom, ki ne presega 250 A, namenjene predvsem za industrijsko uporabo v notranjih prostorih ali na prostem. Seznam prednostnih nazivnih vrednosti ni namenjen izključitvi drugih nazivnih vrednosti, pri čemer so zahteve zanje v obravnavi. Ta evropski standard se uporablja samo za izdelke skupine I. Izdelki skupine II niso dovoljeni in niso primerni za uporabo v Evropi: sklicevanje in zahteve za izdelke skupine II so v tem standardu navedeni zgolj informativno in jih je treba prezreti. Ta evropski standard se uporablja samo za izdelke, ki so namenjeni uporabi s kabli z metričnimi velikostmi (mm2). This amendment A11 modifies the European Standard EN 60309-1:1999; it was approved by CENELEC
on 2004-05-01. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations
which stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without any
alteration.
Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on
application to the Central Secretariat or to any CENELEC member.
This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language
made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the
Central Secretariat has the same status as the official versions.
