Fireworks - Part 33: Spinners - Specification and test methods
This European Standard specifies requirements for the construction, performance, packaging and labelling of spinners and the corresponding test methods. It is applicable to fireworks which are classified as spinners of category 1 and category 2 in EN 14035-2 and which are contained in a primary pack.
It is not applicable to spinners containing report composition.
It is not applicable to spinners containing pyrotechnic composition that includes any of the following substances:
- arsenic or arsenic compounds;
- mixtures containing a mass fraction of chlorates greater than 80 percent;
- mixtures of chlorates with metals;
- mixtures of chlorates with red phosphorus;
- mixtures of chlorates with potassium hexacyanoferrate(II);
- mixtures of chlorates with sulfur;
- mixtures of chlorates with sulfides;
- lead or lead compounds;
- mercury compounds;
- white phosphorus;
- picrates or picric acid;
- potassium chlorate with a mass fraction of bromates greater than 0,15 percent;
- sulfur with an acidity, expressed as mass fraction of sulfuric acid, greater than 0,002 percent;
- zirconium with a particle size of less than 40 mm.
NOTE In EN 14035-2, spinners are classified as follows:
- Brief description: tube or tubes containing pyrotechnic composition, and with aerofoils attached;
- Principal effects: rotation and ascent, with emission of sparks and/or flames, with or without aural effect.
Schemes for type testing of spinners and batch testing of spinners are specified in Annex A and Annex B respectively.
Feuerwerkskörper - Teil 33: Wirbel, steigend - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren
Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an die Konstruktion, Funktion, Ursprungsverpackung und
Beschriftung von Wirbeln, steigend, und die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren fest. Sie gilt für Feuerwerkskörper,
die als Wirbel, steigend, in die Kategorien 1 und 2 in EN 14035-2 eingruppiert sind und die sich in einer
Ursprungsverpackung befinden.
Sie gilt nicht für Wirbel, steigend, die eine Knall-Ladung enthalten.
Sie gilt nicht für Wirbel, steigend, die pyrotechnischen Satz enthalten, in dem eine der nachfolgend
aufgeführten Substanzen enthalten ist:
- Arsen und Arsenverbindungen;
- Mischungen mit einem Massenanteil an Chloraten von mehr als 80 %;
- Mischungen von Chloraten mit Metallen;
- Mischungen von Chloraten mit rotem Phosphor;
- Mischungen von Chloraten mit Kaliumhexacyanoferrat(II);
- Mischungen von Chloraten mit Schwefel;
- Mischungen von Chloraten mit Sulfiden;
- Blei und Bleiverbindungen;
- Quecksilberverbindungen;
- weißer Phosphor;
- Pikrate oder Pikrinsäure;
- Kaliumchlorat mit einem Massenanteil an Bromaten von mehr als 0,15 %;
- Schwefel mit einem Massenanteil an freier Säure (angegeben als H2SO4) von mehr als 0,002 %;
- Zirkon mit einer Korngröße von weniger als 40 µm.
ANMERKUNG In EN 14035-2 sind Wirbel, steigend, wie folgt klassifiziert:
- Kurzbeschreibung: Hülse oder Hülsen, die pyrotechnischen Satz enthalten und an denen Tragflächen befestigt sind;
- Hauptwirkungen: Drehbewegung und Aufstieg, mit Erzeugung von Funken und/oder Flammen, mit oder ohne
akustische Wirkung.

Anhang A beziehungsweise Anhang B angegeben.
