This standard specifies a method for the determination of the thickness of the lacquer film applied inside cylindrical and conical aluminium tubes. The method is a reference. It can also be used as a reference when calibrating other electronic instruments suitable for determining coating weight thickness by e.g., capacitance measurement by Eddy current. It is applicable to aluminium tubes used for packing pharmaceutical, cosmetic, hygiene, food and other domestic products. NOTE : Although not specified in this standard there are available suitable automatic film thickness measurement instruments that provide instantaneous results with good accuracy (< 1 µm).

Diese Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Dicke des Innenschutzlackes bei zylindrischen und konischen Aluminiumtuben. Dieses Verfahren gilt als Referenzverfahren. Es kann als Grundlage für die Kalibrierung von solchen Geräten zur Lackfilmdickenbestimmung herangezogen werden, deren Arbeitsweise auf einem anderen physikalischen Prinzip beruht, z. B. auf Kapazitäts- oder Wirbelstrom-Messungen. Diese Norm findet Anwendung für Aluminiumtuben zum Verpacken von Produkten der Pharmazie, der Kosmetik, der Hygiene sowie für Lebensmittel und für Industrie- und Haushaltsprodukte. ANMERKUNG: Obwohl in dieser Norm nicht erwähnt, stehen Geräte für die automatische Messung der Schichtdicke zur Verfügung, die sofort Ergebnisse mit hoher Genauigkeit (< 1 µm) liefern.

Cette norme spécifie une méthode de contrôle de l'épaisseur du vernis appliqué à l'intérieur des tubes en aluminium cylindriques et coniques. Cette méthode est une méthode de référence. Elle peut aussi servir de base pour l'étalonnage de matériels de mesure de l'épaisseur des films appliqués en couches minces et fonctionnant selon d'autres principes physiques, par exemple, mesures de capacités, courants de Foucault, etc... Elle s'applique aux tubes souples en aluminium utilisés pour le conditionnement des produits destinés aux marchés de la cosmétologie, de la pharmacie, de l'hygiène, ainsi qu'aux produits à usage alimentaire, industriel ou domestique. NOTE Bien qu'ils ne soient pas spécifiés dans la présente Norme, divers appareils de mesure automatique de l'épaisseur
