This European Standard describes methods for checking that plain detonators, electric detonators, non-electric detonators, shock tubes and relays will not explode when subject to an impact under specified conditions.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren um zu überprüfen, daß Sprengkapseln, elektrische und nichtelektrische Zünder, Zündschläuche (shock-tubes) und Verzögerer nicht detonieren, wenn sie unter sie unter bestimmten Bedingungen einem Schlag ausgesetzt werden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie des méthodes permettant de vérifier que les détonateurs pyrotechniques, les détonateurs électriques, les détonateurs non-électriques, les connecteurs de surface, les tubes à transmission d'ondes de choc et les relais pour cordeau détonant n'explosent pas lorsqu'ils sont soumis à un choc dans des conditions spécifiées.
