This European standard specifies a method for the determination of sodium contents equal to or greater than
1 mg/kg.
This method is applicable to fatty acid methyl esters intended for addition to mineral oils.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung von Natrium-Gehalten gleich oder größer als 1 mg/kg fest.
Dieses Verfahren ist für Fettsäuremethylester, die zur Zumischung zu Mineralölen bestimmt sind, anwendbar.
WARNUNG - Die Anwendung dieses Verfahrens kann den Einsatz gefährlicher Stoffe, Arbeitsgänge und Geräte mit sich bringen. Diese Norm gibt nicht vor, alle mit ihrer Anwendung verbundenen Sicherheitsprobleme anzusprechen. La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode de détermination des teneurs en sodium égales ou supérieures à 1 mg/kg.
Cette méthode est applicable à des esters méthyliques d'acides gras destinés à être additionnés à des huiles minérales.
