This document specifies the requirements for solid wall pipes with smooth internal and external surfaces, extruded from the same formulation throughout the wall, fittings and the system of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC U) piping systems in the field of non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage:
- buried in ground outside the building structure (application area code "U"), and
- both buried in ground, within the building structure and outside the building (application area code "UD").
NOTE 1 The intended use is reflected in the marking of products by "U" or "UD".
It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this document.
NOTE 2 Multilayer pipes with different formulations throughout the wall and foamed core pipes are covered by EN 13476-2 [1].
This document covers a range of nominal sizes, a range of pipes and fittings series and a range of stiffness classes and gives recommendations concerning colours.
NOTE 3 It is the responsibility of the purchaser or specifier to make the appropriate selection from these aspects, taking into account their particular requirements and any relevant national regulations and installation practices or codes.
It is applicable to PVC U pipes and fittings, their joints and to joints with components of other plastics and non-plastics materials intended to be used for buried piping systems for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage.
NOTE 4 Pipes, fittings and other components conforming to any of the plastics product standards listed in Annex C can be used with pipes and fittings conforming to this document, provided they conform to the requirements for joint dimensions given in Clause 7 and to the requirements of Table 16.

Dieser Teil von EN 1329 legt für Vollwand-Rohrleitungssysteme aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U) Anforderungen an Rohre, Formstücke und das Rohrleitungssystem für Abwasserleitungen fest, die in Schwerkraftentwässerungsanlagen zum Ableiten von Abwasser (niedriger und hoher Temperatur) eingesetzt werden:
- innerhalb von Gebäuden (Anwendungskennzeichen "B");
- innerhalb von Gebäuden und erdverlegt innerhalb der Gebäudestruktur (Anwendungskennzeichen "BD").
ANMERKUNG 1 Der vorgesehene Verwendungszweck wird durch die Kennzeichnung der Erzeugnisse mit "B" und "BD" angezeigt.
ANMERKUNG 2 Für erdverlegte Anwendungen innerhalb der Gebäudestruktur sind nur Rohrleitungsteile (gekenn-zeichnet mit "BD") mit einem Nenn-Außendurchmesser von mindestens 75 mm bestimmt.
Der vorliegende Teil von EN 1329 gilt ebenfalls für Rohre, Formstücke und das Rohrleitungssystem aus PVC-U für die folgenden Verwendungszwecke:
- Lüftungsleitungen in Verbindung mit Abwasseranwendungen;
- Regenwasserleitungen innerhalb der Gebäudestruktur.
Er legt auch die Prüfparameter für das Prüfverfahren fest, auf das in dieser Europäischen Norm verwiesen wird.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt einen Nennweitenbereich, einen Bereich von Rohr- und Formstückreihen sowie Empfehlungen für die Einfärbung.
ANMERKUNG 3 Die geeignete Auswahl aus diesen Aspekten unter Berücksichtigung der jeweils geltenden Anforde-rungen sowie aller maßgebenden nationalen Bestimmungen und Verlegeverfahren oder vorschriften liegt in der Verantwortung des Kunden oder Auftraggebers.
Für Rohrleitungsteile, die oberirdisch außerhalb an Gebäuden befestigt werden, sollten zusätzliche Anforderungen in Abhängigkeit vom Klima zwischen Hersteller und Anwender vereinbart werden.
ANMERKUNG 4 Rohre, Formstücke und andere Rohrleitungsteile, die einer der in Anhang B aufgeführten Normen zu Kunststofferzeugnissen entsprechen, können mit Rohren und Formstücken nach der vorliegenden Europäischen Norm verwendet werden, sofern sie die Anforderungen an die Maße von Verbindungen nach Abschnitt 6 und die Anforderungen nach Tabelle 24 erfüllen.
ANMERKUNG 5 Verbindungen und Klebstoffe werden als Teil des Rohrleitungssystems entsprechend dem Anwendungsbereich angesehen.

Cette partie de l’EN 1329 spécifie les exigences pour les tubes à paroi compacte en poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié (PVC-U), les raccords et le système destinés à être utilisés pour :
- les applications d’évacuation des eaux-vannes et des eaux usées (à basse et à haute température) à l'intérieur des bâtiments (code de zone d’application « B ») ;
- les applications d'évacuation des eaux-vannes et des eaux usées (à basse et à haute température) utilisables aussi bien à l'intérieur des bâtiments qu'en enterré dans la structure du bâtiment (code de zone d’application « BD »).
NOTE 1 L’utilisation prévue est repérée au niveau du marquage des produits par « B » ou «BD».
NOTE 2 Seuls sont destinés à l'usage en enterré dans la structure du bâtiment, les composants (marqués "BD") avec un diamètre extérieur nominal égal ou supérieur à 75 mm.
Cette partie de l’EN 1329 est également applicable aux tubes en PVC-U, raccords et le système destinés aux usages suivants :
- la partie de ventilation du réseau de canalisation en association avec des applications d’évacuation des eaux-usées ;
- canalisations pour les eaux pluviales à l'intérieur de la structure du bâtiment.
Elle spécifie également les paramètres d'essai pour les méthodes d'essai référencées dans la présente norme.
La présente norme couvre une gamme de dimensions nominales, une gamme de tubes et de raccords et donne des recommandations concernant les couleurs.
NOTE 3 Il est de la responsabilité de l'acheteur ou du concepteur du réseau d'effectuer les sélections appropriées à partir de ces données en tenant compte des exigences particulières, des éventuelles règles nationales et des pratiques ou codes de pose appropriées.
Pour une application externe en aérien il convient de spécifier des exigences supplémentaires dépendant du climat entre le fabricant et l'utilisateur.
NOTE 4 Les tubes, les raccords et autres composants conformes à l'une des normes de produits plastiques listées dans l'Annexe B peuvent être utilisés avec des tubes et des raccords conformes à la présente Norme européenne dans la mesure où ils répondent aux exigences pour les dimensions d'assemblage données dans l'Article 6 et aux exigences du Tableau 24.

4.3 Additional requirement for fitting material for BD application The material of fittings intended to be used in application area BD shall comply with the additional requirement given in Table 2, when tested in accordance with the methods and the parameters indicated in Table 2. The fitting material shall be tested in the form of an extruded or injection-moulded pipe. 6.2.2 Out-of-roundness The out-of-roundness, measured directly after production shall be less than or equal to 0,024 dn. 6.2.3 Effective length of pipes The effective length (useful length) of a pipe, l, shall be not less than that specified by the manufacturer when measured as shown in Figure 1. The remaining wall thickness of the end of the pipe shall be at least 1/3 of emin. 6.2.5 Wall thickness The wall thickness shall conform to Table 5 or Table 6 respectively, where for metric series a wall thickness at any point up to 1,2emin is permitted provided that the mean value, em, is less than or equal to the specified em,max. In such case the average of two opposite wall thicknesses shall be equal to, or exceed, the values given in Table 9 or Table 10, as applicable. Where a sealing ring is located by means of a retaining cap or ring (see Figure 4) the wall thickness in this area shall be calculated by addition of the wall thickness of the socket and the wall thickness of the retaining cap or ring at the corresponding places in the same cross section.

6.4.2 Ring seal sockets and spigot The diameters and lengths of ring seal sockets and spigots type S I (short type system I), type S II (short type system II) and type M (medium type) shall conform to Tables 13 to 15, as applicable (see Figure 2).
