Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt das Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Verformung von zementhaltigen Mörteln und Fugenmörteln für keramische Fliesen und Platten.
Diese Norm gilt für alle zementhaltigen Mörtel und Fugenmörtel für die Verarbeitung keramischer Fliesen und Platten an Wand und Boden, für innen und außen.
Sie ist nicht anwendbar auf Mörtel und Fugenmörtel für keramische Fliesen und Platten, die elastische Eigenschaften besitzen, wie viele Dispersions- und Reaktionsharzkleber.
Diese Europäische Norm enthält keine Anforderungen und keine Empfehlungen hinsichtlich der Beschaffenheit und die Verarbeitung von keramischen Fliesen und Platten.
ANMERKUNG Mörtel und Klebstoffe für keramische Fliesen und Platten können auch für andere Arten von Fliesen und Platten (Natur-, Betonwerksteine, usw.) verwendet werden, wenn sich dadurch keine negativen Einflüsse auf diese Materialien ergeben.

This document EN 12002:2002 has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN /TC 67 "Ceramic tiles", the
secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
by endorsement, at the latest by May 2003, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by
May 2003.
This document supersedes EN 12002:1997.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
countries are bound to implement this European Standard : Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland,

1 Scope
This European Standard specifies the test method to be used to determine the transverse deformation of
cementitious ceramic tile adhesives and grouts.
This standard is applicable to all cementitious ceramic tile adhesives and grouts for internal and external tile
installations on floors and walls.
It is not applicable to ceramic tile adhesives and grouts which possess elastomeric properties, such as many
dispersions and reaction resin adhesives and grouts.
