This European Standard specifies:
   the dimensional, leaktightness, mechanical and hydraulic characteristics with which shower hoses shall comply;
   the procedures for testing these characteristics.
This European Standard applies to shower hoses of any material used for ablutionary purposes and intended for equipping and supplementing sanitary tapware for baths and showers.
This European Standard applies to shower hoses connected downstream of the obturator of the tapware.
Hoses which are an integral part of sanitary tapware (sink and wash basin mixing valves) or hoses intended to connect sanitary tapware to the water supplies are not covered by this European Standard.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Folgendes fest:
- Maße und Dichtheit sowie mechanisches und hydraulisches Verhalten, die/das Brauseschläuche
aufweisen müssen;
- die Verfahren zur Prüfung auf Einhaltung dieser Anforderungen.
Die vorliegende Europäische Norm gilt unabhängig vom verwendeten Werkstoff für Brauseschläuche für die
Körperhygiene als Ausrüstung und Ergänzung von Sanitärarmaturen in Duschen und Bädern.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Brauseschläuche für den Anschluss nach dem Absperrorgan der Armatur.
Diese Europäische Norm deckt keine Schläuche zur Verbindung der Sanitärarmaturen mit der
Wasserversorgung und keine Schläuche ab, die integraler Bestandteil der Sanitärarmatur sind (Mischbatterien
für Spülbecken und Handwaschbecken).
Einzelheiten zu Druck und Temperatur sind in Tabelle 1 enthalten.

Robinetterie sanitaire - Flexibles de douches pour robinetterie sanitaire pour les systèmes d'alimentation en eau de types 1 et 2 - Spécifications techniques générales

La présente Norme européenne spécifie :
   les caractéristiques dimensionnelles, d’étanchéité, de comportement mécanique et hydraulique auxquelles doivent répondre les flexibles de douches ;
   les modes opératoires d’essai permettant de contrôler ces caractéristiques.
La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux flexibles de douches, quel que soit le matériau utilisé, destinés à équiper et à compléter les robinetteries sanitaires de baignoires ou de douches réservées pour l’hygiène corporelle.
La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux flexibles de douches connectés en aval de l’obturateur de la robinetterie.
Les flexibles destinés à raccorder les robinetteries sanitaires à l’installation, ainsi que ceux qui font partie de la robinetterie (mitigeurs pour évier et lavabo) ne sont pas couverts par la présente Norme européenne.
Les exigences relatives à la pression et à la température sont données dans le Tableau 1.
