They shall only be con- nected downstream of the tapware.

Diese Europäische Norm hat den Zweck folgendes festzulegen: - die Masse, die Anforderungen an das hydraulische Verhalten, die Dichtheit und das mechanische Verhalten, denen Brauseschläuche genügen müssen; - Die Prüfverfahren, um diese Anforderungen zu überprüfen. Diese Norm gilt für Brauseschläuche unabhängig vom Material zur Verbindung von Handbrausen für die Körperhygiene in Duschen und Bädern. Sie dürfen nur nach dem Absperrorgander Armatur angeschlossen werden.

La présente norme Européenne a pour objet de fixer: - les caractéristiques dimensionnelles, hydrauliques, et de comportement mécaniques des flexibles de douches, auxquelles doivent répondre les flexibles de douche; - les méthodes d'essais permettant de contrôler ces caractéristiques. Elle s'applique aux flexibles, quels que soient les matériaux utilisés, desti-nés à raccorder les douchettes pour l'hygiène  corporelle aux robinetteries de douches et de baignoires. Ces flexibles doivent être connectés seulement à l'aval de l'obturateur de la robinetterie.
